Description:
During the winter month of February 2026, Battlegroup III will engage in a series of challenges and games over a number of different platforms and scenarios.
The 2026 Battlegroup III Winter Games are as follows:
- Highest Cumulative SP Score (all SP platforms) - Earn the most total points/score from SP missions over the course of the month!
- Highest Total PvP Kill Count (all PvP platforms) - Earn the most total kills across all PvP matches over the course of the month!
- Highest Total PvE Kill Count (all PvE platforms except Helldivers 2) - Earn the most total kills across all PvE matches over the course of the month!
- Highest Total Helldivers 2 XP Count (Helldivers 2) - Earn the most total XP across all Helldivers 2 matches over the course of the month!
- Best Long-Form Arts Submission - Create a work of art (whether that be fiction, graphic, custom mission, song, etc.) that celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the ISD Challenge's commissioning
- Best Total Run-On Submissions - Participate in the run-on in #bg3-runons celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the ISD Challenge's commissioning!
The top four pilots to place in each event will be awarded the appropriate Iron Star. For flying event, tiebreakers will default to pilot who obtained the highest score/kills/XP using the least amount of matches. Arts and run-on will be judged by competition organizer based on the Battlegroup III Arts Competition Grading Rubric .
Submissions for the Best Long-Form Arts event should be sent directly to AD Locke Setzer via email (locke.f.setzer@gmail.com) or Discord (lockesetzer). No manual submission is required for all other events.

Each event will award the top performers as follows:
- IS-GW to the first place pilot for flying events / IS-GR to the first place pilot for arts events
- IS-SW to the second place pilot for flying events / IS-SR to the second place pilot for arts events
- IS-BW to the third place pilot for flying events / IS-BR to the third place pilot for arts events
- IS-CW to the fourth place pilot for flying events / IS-CR to the fourth place pilot for arts events
Competition runtime starts on the first day at 00:00:01 UTC, and ends on the last day at 23:59:59 UTC.
