Seeing as this is the first Tour of Duty that started it all, it's hard to knock the low points of the ToD. Main issue comes down to foresight with future releases and the time control mechanic not being present in this game. Other than that, great introductory ToD to the series and still enjoyable to fly.

Look, I'm loathe to knock the original games in any way, shape, or form. And this is the original battle! The very first! Where it all begin!
As such, it definitely has a bit of a tutorial feel at times, in a way some of the other games don't. And I actually think that's to it's benefit - you are definitely eased into the game in a more gentle way than any of the rest (at least when it comes to playing the campaign proper).
Does it mean a lot of waiting around if you know what you're doing? Sometimes yeah, but considering the context, I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
