Played on Easy. I liked the story of this mission, not a big story but plenty to give me a feeling that the mission had a purpose. The combat was fun and was able to win on the first try, but it wasn't a cake walk either.

This was great! I left the cap ships to be destroyed, which happened easily and just got into the dog-fighting, which was great fun :)

Fun Free.
Tough at times on medium, mag pulse are a pain, thankfully you have backup fighters.
Worth playing. Work well for a comp as theres lots of fighters.

Was it good? Not really. Was it fun? Yes, it was. Fly it to have fun and then forget all about it a moment later. That Calamari Cruiser Independence is going to die a lot!

Decent mission about destroying an enemy flotilla with 3 capital ships while flying a T/A in CAP/dogfight configuration only, and covering several GUNs which are in charge of the assault. The mission is well crafted, the action is engaging, and player will have an overall good experience of this simple, but still effective, concept of protecting your bombers. Worth a try. An honest FCHG point

Debriefing: The VSD Unmasked has been stolen, so we were sent in to destroy it. This seemed to me to be a waste of resources but I'm just a pilot, not intel or anything. Definitely not intel. |
OOC: It was a mess of a cluster in this. I do not understand logically how a entire VSD like this could be stolen but that aside I would say there was adequate opponents and while the A-Wings seemed too missle happy it wasn't too bad a mission. I was a bit concerned during it however that I would have to run it a few times but over all it went out well. One thing and it may be nothing but both capital ships seemed to drop there hull strength very very quickly and it just seemed... off?

Theft of the VSD Unmasked The rebels have stolen the VSD Unmasked!!!! The VSD Unmasked has vital technology that the Empire has been working on. WE must destroy this ship and all of the rebels in the area, before they can escape. Use whatever means necessary. Be aware of any rebel star fighters and Rebel star ships that may appear. INSTALLATION 1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle. 2] Check the Misc folder in your BoP one for additional material like patches, sounds etc. 3] Press the Balance of Power button to start BoP and fly the battle. It should show up in the free mission section while you select a mission in the single player mode.
