The Protector's weapons loadout is sufficient to down almost any ship in the Empire. Couple that with its speed and maneuverability, you have the most versatile fighter in existence.

The pilot sits with safety behind the Protector's Vector Cube Shielding System. The wing setup is such that it can fly or glide fully atmospherically in case of technical sabotage or damage. The bottom wings fold up when landing where there is no SFS rack system available.
