The 2nd edition of the Colossus Squadron League ended on Sunday with Teth Squadron defeating Inferno to claim the title. The Average difference between Teth and Inferno's scores was an amazing 119 points, in what was the closest match of the competition.

Membership: 68 active, 165 total

1) The Field Manual is not finished yet, mostly due to having the house re-roofed all last week and the grounds cleared of plants and debris. Roofing continues this week (it's a big complicated roof).

2) The Platoon League, in an effort to get it back on an even keel (darn thing keeps shipwrecking itself), is moving from the province of the Commander, Operations to the Battalion Commander and Company Commanders. With work spread among three people -- and these people being closer to the league participants than the CO -- I hope the league will become more a fixture than a recurring phenomenon.

3) The CSMA is seeing more new courses for demolitions, vehicles, and communications moving across the desk!

4) With the GS in its renovated form, some policy will be discussed and updated, mostly pertaining to internal personnel assignemnt, transfers, and the refined role of the CO in light of the league moving down the chain of command.

5) All items on the HF Gear online store have been reduced in price to the minimum.

There is a MOD in creation for JK2. (One of many). It is a Dark Forces re-creation. However, I have got great hopes in this MOD, cause if it is also MP avariable (2nd release), then we could make in EH also some DF MP Comps additionally to the JK2 Comps. The feeling will be the same as the old DF. I know, when I loaded DF the 1st time, I was impressed of the graphics. However, I feel DF was much better then JK1. Don't think that the Level Graphic is so bad in JK2 (from the Pic's). The Textures are converted from the original DF into JK2. They will be redone later. Check the FAQ for more details.

A new Grand Moff and Supreme Director have been selected. Congratulations to GMF/VA Crusader and SDIR/VA Trouttrooper.

This would now place the ASF as the only Battlegroup to ever have squadrons with over 220 citations at the same time! I think this is a pretty big deal and wanted to give all congrats! Great work to Avenger Squadron (223) and to
Diamondback(245) !

Finally the EHCOC Site and the Combat Manual are online. Some things must be added (especially EHCOC Website), but I think this is a great start. It is with great sadness that I must resign my position as Commander of Security and request a transfer to the Homeguard for the duration of roughly 9 weeks, during which I'll be spending my time at Naval Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, IL.

Without hesitation, I would recommend my Assistant, Cypher, as my replacement. She has not only the knowledge and skills to carry on as my successor, but also the maliciousness :)

Throughout my many years in the Hammer's Fist, I have come to know a great deal of great people. I'd like to thank each and every one of you for the good times and fun we've all had.

It's been great, and I'll be back as soon as I get internet access. I look forward to seeing evil run rampant within the HF during my absence.

I'm pleased today to approve the promotion of Colonel Wil Striker, Commander of Wing XIV, to the rank of General. Wil Striker is the epitome of a great WC, constantly working to support his pilots and ship, and this promotion is well deserved. Congrats Wil!

On top of that, the EH has several members in Greece, and we could lose them if this law stays in place. This competition determines the Flagship of the TIE Corps Battlegroups, and is traditionally the high point of the BGs. Today marks the start of the Graphics phase of this three-phase competition. Will the ISD Immortal retain her title as Flagship? Only time (and the efforts of her pilots) will tell.

1) Both company commander posts have been filled with Dante and Delak. These
posts carry responsibility, but my battalion commander and I think these
people will fit fine.

2) The Field Manual continues in its rewrite. I am hoping to get this
finished over the weekend. That is really pushing it, but it is long overdue
as it is!

3) Operation Darkscreen continues!

4) A new CSMA course is being reviewed: the Demolitions Technician I. When something needs blowing up or a path cleared, bring up the demo techs! More Demo, Medic, Comm, and other courses are being developed.

• Current or former member of the Tactical Staff with proven skills
• Must own XvT and BoP, knowledge in XvT/BoP mission creation
• Good IRC presence and fast email response
• Ability to work under high pressure (i.e. Mike)
• Ability to lead the team of testers/engineers
• Must agree to serve a minimum of TWO months as TCC:XvT. Failure to do so would ban you from any further position within the Tactical Staff.

Also after SHW Kantor's suggestion I have added the [JK] Week of War XXXIII and the [JK2] Week of War V to the Combat Calendar. The Emperor's Hammer (EH) and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood (DJB) are subscribed. After finishing the Week of War's all EH Matches will be processed by me and sent to the SHW for awarding the Cluster of Fire's.

All the Scores will be processed within 3 days after their respective Competitions ended.
