The two vacant Flag positions have finally been filled. Congratulations to Colonel Frodo March who returns to the Flag Staff as Commodore of the ISD Intrepid and a promotion to Rear Admiral.

The Elite Omega CMDR, Colonel Sasquatch, has been promoted to the rank of General for his outstanding work in recent months. This is the second time Sas has received the coveted General rank, the first time during his tour as Wing III WC. Congrats!

I'd like to congratulate 2LT Kaol Halcyon on being named the Drill Instructor/Orion PC. He has just returned from a medical LOA and is ready to get back into the swing of things. Vice Admiral Wil Striker has resigned from his position as Intrepid Commodore. Those of you interested why, I'll give a full explanation in my next Flight Office report. Applications are now being accepted for a new COM, with the following requirements:

• Must have held the position of Wing Commander for no less than FOUR consecutive months. Those that haven't been a WC, but have considerable CMDR experience may also be considered for the position.
• Passed SM/II or SM/III and be familiar with ALL EH and TIE Corps policies and Standing Orders.
• Be able to work with people at all levels, from Flight Members to the Flight Officer.
• Have a good email reply time (48 hours).
• No serious HCI convictions. Ever.
• Be prepared to report in on time each week without fail.
• Must be familiar with MP and SP aspects of XvT and be prepared for the occasional bout of flying as part of competitions involving Flag Officers.
• Be able to motivate those under your command and keep them active.
• Be able to look at long term plans for the Ship, Battlegroup and TIE Corps as a whole.
• Be prepared to work with Flags outside of the ASF in the continuous improvement of the Fleet.

Applications should be sent to High Admiral Priyum and Admiral Darksaber by Tuesday 27th May at the latest with the subject "IntCOM". You may provide up to three references, two of which must come from superior Officers, past or present. The COM position is not one to be taken lightly. You must say why you think yourself qualified for the job, and you want it. Good luck if you choose to apply.

Applications are now being accepted for the Wing III WC position. The application period is open through to Sunday May 25th. Mail apps to Admiral Proton . The requirements for the position are:

• Must have held the position of CMDR in the TC for no less than four months in one tour.
• Must have passed either SM/II or SM/III
• Be able to reply to emails and process BSFs within 48 hours
• Report on time each week without fail
• Must be willing to handle significant amounts of admin in the course of running the Wing
• Be able to motivate pilots and keep CMDRs working towards improving their Squadrons and performance
• Must be able to create and run various competitions for the Wing
• Applicants must be 100% dedicated to the Wing and see goals achieved to the end
• No serious HCI convictions within the last 12 months. This includes 407 violations
• A keen sense of duty and loyalty to the Sovereign and commitment to participation in the activities of the Brotherhood of Sov Flag Officers
• Strict adherence to the Fleet Standing Orders and Sovereign policies

Be sure to add you future plans for the Wing and what steps you would take to encourage recruitment, activity and the general upkeep of the Wing. As always, flakes, cheats, resume-padders and mental loons need not apply.

Today is a sad day for the FES and the EH. One of our allies has lost his battle to stomach cancer and fallen. I'm not sure if any of you knew Daemon, but he was a steadfast supporter of the EH and a member of Force Elite Soldiers. Today I received word from High Colonel Trigit regarding Daemon's memorial, the FES has invited the entire EH to attend if they wish, so I will paste his email below.

"Just a heads up, Kaardoon has set a date for Daemon's memorial service. You and the entire EH are invited to attend this, and we would be honored by your attendance.

It took a while, but I'm pleased to announce that in agreement with the Grand Master, Major Adren Silvori has been selected as the new Commander of the Elite Tau Squadron. Congrats!

Just a reminder that the Emperor's Hammer weekly meeting in #Emperor's_Hammer now features Trivia. The winner of trivia recieves an IS-BR, or an IS-SR if attendance is above 80. Encourage everybody you know to show up online for the meeting at 12 noon EST.

As announced in my latest report, I'm taking an indefinate leave from IRC. I will still be around and active, just need a break from IRC for a while to sort some things out. Congratulations to the former Omicron CMDR, Lieutenant Colonel Wysseri Arestar, who has been selected as the new Wing VIII WC.

With the retirement of General Drake, the position of Wing IX Wing Commander is open for applications. If you think you have what it takes to be a Wing Commander, email the COM, RA Jahan Kalar and the BGCOM, AD Krax by Sunday May 18th at 23:59 CST. The requirements are:

- At least one successful tour as CMDR or above (4 months)
-No major HCI convictions during the last 12 months
-Committment to the position of at least four months
- Experience with XWA (TIE experience highly recommended)
- Ability to reliably handle significant amounts of admin work to keep things running smoothly
- Ability to create and run various competitions
- Reliable and quick email response
- A sincere desire to make Wing IX the best it possibly can be and a commitment to the Tie Corps and the Relentless
-Ability to handle numerous command decisions in a fair and mature manner


Include any plans you have for the Wing, especially in regards to moral, activity and recruitment. All officers who feel they meet the above requirements will be considered, but egomaniacs, crackpots, abusive jerks, and anyone who's in it for the rank should look elsewhere.

I have received approval from the Fleet Commander to extend the maximum attainable rank as a Flight Member from Lieutenant Commander to Commander. To be eligible for this rank, a FM must have spent at least THREE months in their current position. Time is not the only consideration for such a promotion - activity during this period must also be a factor.

The database won't support the submission of these promotion recommendations yet, however Wing Commanders can email me the request and I'll do it manually. The Training Manual, Fleet Standing Orders and Squadron Management notes will be updated over the coming days.

Congratulations to the Elite Avenger Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Dax Corrin, who has been promoted to Colonel for his work in recent months.

Congrats also go out to the Wing Commander of Wing IV, Major Mayk Wolverine, who is promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in recognition of his Flag work.

I will be on leave beginning tomorrow (Saturday 10th) until Friday 23rd May due to work commitments. I may have sparodic internet access, but will not be able to perform my duties fully.

Thus, the Flight Officer will be reviewing Competition submissions, and my Training Office Assistant will be grading all the Courses that I am responsible for.

Here are some simple rules for CSMA course submission: 1) Send one test per email. 2) Send them in .txt format please. 3) Do not send in more than one test in a series without receiving a course completion email from the previous one. 4) Please have the subject line include what test is being submitted. Thanks and please follow the rules or we'll just delete your tests.

Due to a hectic RL situation, Lieutenant Colonel Shadd has stepped down as Wing Commander of Wing VIII.

As you may have heard, the people at the Zone had plans to shut down the XvT and XWA rooms. However, a petition was drafted, and the Zone people have decided instead to merely move the rooms.

To find the new rooms, go to "All Games" at http://www.zone.com, and go under "ZoneLAN - DirectPlay". You'll find the rooms as "XWing Alliance" and "XvT Rebel Base II".

Due the promotion of Darksaber to Admiral, there is a comp held in to celebrate this promotion. The Comp is held in #ehcoc on comming Sunday. All regular Comps will be nulled for this. For more Information check this sites.
