I noticed the other day my lack of an Imperial Pilot Navy Record (INPR). Now I know I wrote one many moons ago under the constant bugging of my then CMDR, General Sasquatch (now Elite Omega CMDR), but finding it proved unsuccessful. So rather than rewriting it, I thought it might be interesting to get members of the TIE Corps to submit their own versions, with awards going for the best entries.

Submissions can be serious or humorous, the only criteria is that they be in good taste and have a good amount of content. Send them attached as either .doc or .txt files to spellfire@btinternet.com by July 13th. After this I'll decide on the winning entry and post all submissions for viewing.

The position of Wing XX WC is now open to applications with the following requirements:

• Must have held the position of Squadron Commander for no less than four months and hold the rank of Captain or higher
• Passed either SM/II or SM/III and be intimately familiar with all EH and TC regulations.
• No HCI convictions within the past 18 months.
• Be familiar with all three primary game platforms (TIE, XvT & XWA), single and multiplayer.
• Must be a member of good standing in the Dark Brotherhood (command position not necessary).
• Be able to deal with members at all levels, from the Flight Officer to Flight Members.
• Be able to constantly monitor and motivate all members of the Wing.
• Have plans for the long term activity of the Wing.

Applications must be received by Sunday 13th July and should be sent to Rear Admiral TK-2107 and Vice Admiral Khaen. The application should have the subject "Wing XX WC". Good luck if you choose to apply.

It seems several people, myself included, are still having a variety of problems with ehnet.org email accounts, whether it be sending emails or receiving. Please double check that your emails are getting through to recipients. The IO is aware of the problems and is working to resolve them soon.

Following a successful stint as Wing XX Wing Commander, Lieutenant Colonel TK-2107 has been selected as the new ISD Subjugator Commodore and promoted to Rear Admiral. Congratulations!

Greetings folks. The Flight Office is in need of TWO new banners, one general banner for the front page and a second to replace the ageing link banner (aww). The main banner can be of any size (within reason) and the link banner should be ideally 400x50 pixels. The Training Office (under the sponsorship of the Imperial University) is launching a series of IRC colloquia ? individual ?online conferences? that serve to educate and discuss matters of importance to our role as members of the Emperor?s Hammer and the internet community. These events will take the form of a presentation from professionals followed by directed questions and open discussion. I am calling for proposals for these events to focus upon (such topics can span Star Wars canon to matters of real-life relevance; literature, popular culture, music ? the possibilities are essentially endless). Any such ideas or comments should be sent to me at to@emperorshammer.org.

Many congratulations go out to Rear Admiral Khadgar, the Commodore of the ISD Grey Wolf, who has been promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral in recognition of his work to date. The second time he's earned such a promotion, I'm sure it's routine by now ;)

Figured I'd hop in on the "New **!" bandwagon.:) Anyways, I'm the new Commander of Operations as of Friday night. We're going to be having a large operation set up for next month. Details are still being ironed out, but as of right now it will include a minimum of six different activiities. It will be fun and I wanna see alot of activity coming from the line!

On a side note, see the little part on the course pages where it says "Course Pre-Requisites"? Those are non-negotiable. And the little bit where it says "Course Submission Rules (MANDATORY)"? Guess what? Those are MANDATORY. I'm going into the CSMA Inbox tonight, and EVERY test that doesn't fit those Rules will be deleted. .DOC files are NOT ACCEPTABLE! We don't have enough room in our Inbox for it, unless you're willing to buy us extra space. I'm also not going to waste my time by notifying you if I deleted your test. If you had followed the requirements in the first place, we wouldn't be in this situation. I'm not trying to be a hardass here, but, come on guys. It's been there forever. Follow them, and you won't have a problem. On a side note, we'll soon have a brand new CSMA site, completely rebuilt - with ONLINE TESTS! Keep your eyes peeled!

I'm now taking applications for the position of CA:LO. Duties will include doing research on various LO projects, helping to update the EH Codex and create content for a few sites I have planned in the near future. Other duties will come up as time goes by, but these are the immediate responsibilities of the job.

Selection Criteria: Essential

• Minimum of 1 year in the EH
• Experience with command at least at the CMDR or equal level
• Ability to work with deadlines
• Abilty to get along with many EHers, both CS and normal members
• Eye for detail(this is a research oriented position)
• No HCI convictions for CHEATING ever(I know most ppl say no HCI, but I'm a convict myself..I just HATE cheaters!)
• At least an intermediate understanding of HTML

Selection Criteria: Desirable

• Previous experience as an LOA
• ASP/PHP coding skills

In anticipation of new releases, Telarian Gaming is putting out the call for pilots to assist in testing newer versions of the Telarian Gaming client and the system it utilizes. With work continuing at a steady pace, testers will be needed in the very near future. The goal of these tests is accessability to Telarian Gaming. We encourage every pilot interested to sign up, as we need to make sure everyone can enjoy Telarian Gaming regardless of their setup.

The EH is now a very active BSC Club. When I took over the COO Job we didn't won anything in WoW, but as you can see now here, we are getting better. Here are the most important win's for the EH.

XWA:

XvT:

• Week of War, February 2003, 3rd place

Great work! Keep it up. You make me proud. Maybe in the near future it is possible that we reach the 1st place. This is a big goal from me personally.

Also you noticed that XvT Week of War moved away from the Zone. COOA Dax Corrin is currently writing an update for all you MPer's. I will keep you informed. Updates from the Combat Calendar and the EHCOC Website will be made tomorrow.

The Training Office is current looking for a new BitchX (a text-based IRC client) Professor to join the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School. The requirements are:

• An active member of the Emperor?s Hammer holding the rank of Lieutenant (or equivalent) or above.
• Extensive knowledge of the open-source IRC client, BitchX (http://www.bitchx.org/).
• Be able to grade exam submissions within 24 hours.
• Keeping Graduate Counts (total and per month).
• Maintaining/updating the Course Notes (basic HTML knowledge necessary; or a good WYSIWYG editor).
