This is a great way to not only earn some easy medals and show you as an active member of the DIR, but you'll be leaving a permenant mark on the site (all submissions, if approved, will be added to the database with your name on it)!
I will be taking my first of two much-deserved mini-vacations this summer starting tomorrow (I'm going to New Orleans, for those that care). I will be gone through Sunday evening. Our Minister of Communication, Marquis Defast Insite, will be temporarily in charge during my leave.

 The names were taken, for the most part, from (a) The Sysman (particularly for Ashtar) (b) Latin and Greek (many of the names are derived from words relating to the planet - I tried to make them sound appropriate) a few are taken directly from those languages (c) mythological people, objects, or geographic places.

As most of you should be aware, titles are granted to members of the Directorate with the rank of Baron or higher. Recently, Grand Duke Czulvang Lah has put together a proposal, at my request, to streamline the granting of titles. I hope to explain it sufficiently in this post and then put it into immediate effect. Basically, the title is dependent on your position. They go as follows:
In addition to Yaro's competition allowing you each to develop your own political doctrine - something I encourage you all to do, as it's a fantastic character exercise - there is another Directorate-wide competition currently running.
There has been a lack of new ethics situations recently, something I am completely at fault for. I'd love to get some new ideas, though, so that's where YOU come in. Each governor is encouraged to submit as many *new* ideas for ethics situations as they can think of. The format is the situation, followed by a good (positive), neutral, and bad (evil) response.
Governors can submit as many entries as they'd like. The top three will of course receive the normal top three competition medals, but each accepted entry - as in, I feel it is good enough that I will post it to the ethics program for everyone to enjoy - will receive a medal even if they don't place.
Congrats to Lord Kalin for his elevation to the position as Setii System Moff. I expect great things from him, and I am confident he will deliver on them!

There is a new course available at the DGA: The Tarkin Doctrine. This is one of the most historically important pieces of communication of the Galactic Empire and every Governor of the Directorate should be familiar with it.
Head over to the DGA and try to take the test as soon as possible - it should provide a useful resource to everyone.
