Security Office Report #100 is out, Celibrating report #100 with some of the best fails from the last couple years..
Hey, folks...
I know we're all getting ready for TOR launch, but Pirahnna Games a couple weeks back announced that Mechwarrior Online is coming! [ http://mwomercs.com/ ]. Many of you know that my other love is Mech gaming so now I have two awesome games to look forward to
Accordingly, I resurrected my old Skye Rangers website and am in the process of re-posting all the old content.
I know Rapier and Gallows will be signing on with us, but if anyone else is interested I desperately need new recruits...please see my intro post to the MWO forums:
My Brothers in Arms,
It is with great honor and pride that, after an 8 year hiatus, the Skye Rangers ( www.skye-rangers.net ) have returned to help defend the Lyran Commonwealth in its time of need. We had a great time in MW4: Mercs, (and had about 50 pilots at the time) and now look forward to sharing the field of battle with a new crop of fine Mechwarriors!
We have a new website and are in the process of training and supplying our 'Mech regiments to fend off all enemies of House Steiner.
If you are looking for a new Skye Front Line regiment to sign on with, We need new recruits! I am looking to restaff our ranks on our new website. I am in the process of (re-)posting the rest of our history, planets, archives, etc. etc. but the website is taking shape and is all automated for our warriors.
Hope to see you all on the first drop!
.../salute!
SFC/Margrave GEN Arturus Steiner/Command/Daishi

Security Office Report #99 is out, reminding you that slingshots are fun.
"From the moment we announced the eight classes in Star Warsâ„¢: The Old Republicâ„¢, fans have been pitting them against each other, arguing who would have the advantage in a one-on-one fight. The hallways of BioWare echo this debate, with the writers, combat designers and other developers all chiming in on which class they feel reigns supreme.
In the latest entry of our series “Choose Your Side,†members of the Star Wars: The Old Republic team plead their cases for two iconic Star Wars™ classes, highlighting the many skills and abilities that set each class apart. This time around, Senior Writer Alexander Freed and Designer Ken Dilks argue in favor of the stealthy Imperial Agent, while Writer Jo Berry and Designer Jason Attard speak on behalf of the Force-wielding Jedi Consular..."
"The Collector’s Edition of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ includes seventeen original tracks, but this is just a small sampling of the breadth of music that was composed specifically for the game. As we count down the days until our December 20th launch, we want you to experience the entire original score! That’s why, starting today and continuing every day until launch, we are releasing one new musical track available for download each day on both Facebook and YouTube!..."
"As your character grows more powerful, you will see them gain new skills and abilities to complement the superior gear they acquire.
Channeling the power of the Force to give them strength in combat and clarity in diplomacy, Jedi Consulars are respected for their leadership on the battlefield as well as their evenhanded demeanor at the negotiating table. While many devote themselves to uncovering the ancient secrets of the Jedi and use their command of the Force to defend and protect their allies, others use the Force as a means of slipping into the shadows and becoming powerful servants for the Republic..."
