At last!! After more than a week of serious trouble involving the sending of automatic e-mail notifications, it seems the Emperor's Hammer server is now working again at full speed.

For all of you out there currently holding something resembling command level authority: feel free to use our database again to process all your stuff as you were used to do.

I wonder if it was our Fleet Commander doing his magic with our host providers, or my rather serious threat of sending our own HA-HA Dan there to play his last 100 guitar riff hits for them.

Know that EH server seems to be facing real trouble and intolerable slowness as of late. While it's obvious that all requests are being properly processed and medals actually awarded and added to your profiles, several e-mails were lost for unspeakable reasons NOT related to the e-mail limit and PHP POST sessions involving the sending of those e-mails taking eons to be completed. Additionally, we've been facing 503 "Service Temporarily Unavailable" and "Internal Server Error"+404 issues when trying to process such medals and maybe also competitions (I don't even dare to try). Our Fleet Commander, Internet Officer and TIE Corps Commander have been already reported these problems and they're dealing with the best way to address them.

I am happy to bring you good news, namely that at-our-rears-admiral Zósite Kónstyte Styles has uploaded the patch for Tempest's Tailoring Tool 2 for everyone to use!

This patch came from Styles and yours truly, hopefully the readme file will help everyone to use this fix appropriately in creating correct uniforms. This does not mean that I will cease updating everyone's dress blacks; it merely gives the members the possibility to create their own if they don't want to wait for me, or if they want to create their unique version of their uniforms.

After many ships we've had to close down, for the first time in a decade or more, the TIE Corps is expanding and opening up a new ship: the Imperial-II class Star Destroyer Warrior. Three squadrons were moved off the Hammer and placed in Warrior's Wing II.

At the same time, we welcome back High Admiral Frodo March, who takes command of the Warrior and congratulate COL Elwood the Brave on his promotion to Rear Admiral as he takes command of the Hammer.

And may this be the first of many new ships!
