Today we bring you the new automatic BSF form for X-Wing battles!! You'll find it right there at your usual BSF dutyhouse disguised as "If you are to BSF a X-Wing battle use this form instead". But remember, in case you never took the time to read TAC Manual properly (horreur!): you'll need a ZIP file containing score screenshots of all missions the battle has, one per mission, instead the usual pilotfile since XW pilotfiles don't store historic missions data in an useful (for us) way.
And yes, we KNOW this new feature will be as useful as a 56k modem on MMXIV. But we're The Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps! We don't care about proven facts and learning curves; that smells like democracy and people coming out with ideas that make sense. We kinda ORDER YOU to realize the original X-Wing is as awesome as it can get and miles above anything after 2000 could hope to be.
But wait, you still want an useful feature, don't you? Granted. We've just implemented a 4th player slot for multiplayer match automatic submissions, to be found right below the other 3 so you can't get lost easily! Now you'll be able to report 4v4 matches too. Those above that number still need to be reported as 2 (or more) split matches, ie: 8v8 = 2 x 4v4 (same screenshots, different players), 6v6 = 2 x 3v3 or 4v4 + 2v2 and so on. Moreover! We heavily modified the code so it can eventually admit even more players with no real limits by just changing a single number in 4 different scripts and adding the necessary columns to the SQL data table. In fact, the actual limit is not related to # of players but to the # of e-mails our current server allows to be sent per hour; MP LoC notifications are true hell since they must be e-mailed to ALL winners and their CoCs plus COO, SOO, TCCOM and SuperAdmin (your nuts servant).
Now it's all a matter of seeing how many players can we allow per match in relation to that stupid e-mail quota...
'Nuff said. Happy Imperial Xmas or some bollocks along that line!
