Hi all

as you may have noticed, last Friday a summary email was sent out with some LoCs and LoSs awarded. As of now, you will no longer receive emails for every single one, instead only a single email will be sent on Fridays with the summary of all that was submitted and approved in the past week.

For competition tracking, a similar email will also be sent out on the first day of a month.

CM Hawkins (Kappa 3-4) is looking for custom audio content voice actors for his TIE Fighter mission building projects. Contact him to hear yourself via radio in-game!

Where before we only had custom audio for XvT and XWA missions, the release of the GoG games version of the game now also allows custom audio for TIE Fighter. However, the custom audio only works for the GoG version, where the game's audio files are stored on your hard drive.

As of now, the FCHG points and ranking as well as the CR ranking of all pilots have been updated to reflect changes in the TCPM. The ones I checked manually seem to check out, but if you think there's been a mistake in your standings, let me know!

CM Hawkins has decided to create some interesting stuff for TIE Fighter: the Imperial side of the X-wing missions. The first two releases are two of the Historical Missions available in X-wing, and the Tours of Duty are to follow. This will be interesting indeed!

After nearly 8 month of service LC Plif resigned his position as COOA to concentrate more on his CMDR duties.

As a reward for all the work LC Plif has done for the COO he has just been awarded the Silver Star of the Empire. A more then well deserved reward!

Hello pilots

Although the release and support of Star Conflict has seen an incredible expansion in Multiplayer activity, this did come with an undesired side effect: where before it was very hard to reach the highest tier rank in the Combat ratings, Tan, it has now become a piece of cake: a pilot can accrue CR points a lot faster then in the old days, where you could only fly against people you set up a match with yourself.

As such, it was decided the change the requirements for the CR ranks. Most multiplayer pilots will therefore see their CR ranks go down in the coming week, as they will all be recalculated. The highest tier rank, Tan, will go up from 1000 points to 5000 points.

Hello pilots

After much decision between the TCCS and the Tactical Office, it was decided that the Legion of Combat will no longer be counted towards your FCHG ranking. Before, it counted for both the FCHG and the Combat Ratings, which is double, and this has been corrected. As such, the FCHG will stand for your SP achievements, as well as Iron Star medals earned, and the Combat ratings will stand for your MP achievements.

As such, a lot of members will see their FCHG rating go down. All ranks will be recalculated in the coming week. To compensate for the loss of LoC possibilities in the FCHG, the requirements for the higher tier ranks has been lowered a bit. The highest rank, Imperator, will now be attainable by earning 5500 points instead of 6000.

as per the decision of the TCCS with approval of the FC, the TIE Corps introduces a new medal: the Legion of Skirmish. This medal is to be awarded for PvE MP engagements, for the moment only XvT, XWA and SC are supported, but if other games are needed, let me know.

To submit a PvE activity for a LoS, chose the Report multiplayer Coop match to Combat Operations Office link in your admin menu. The old link (Report multiplayer match to Combat Operations Office is to be used for pvP matches only.

PvE matches can be flown with other TC members, but also with only non-TC members. Screenshots are required as always.

Note: The LoS will have its owhn killboard, the Multiplayer Coop Kill Board. All LoSs acquired will count towards your Combat rating, as are all MP matches.
