SL Apos Steem of Rho Squadron has earned his first Legion of Combat and thus also a promotion to full Lieutenant for completing his first activity for the TIE Corps. Congratulations, LT Steem!

The three Sub-Lieutenants in Beta Squadron have all earned their promotions to Lieutenant. Two of them participated in the Trivia Grand Tour and the third has completed 8 missions for the TIE Corps across two battles. Congratulations to LT Witchblade, LT Garriald, and LT Germ!

Since becoming TCCOM, I've been working with the other admirals to make some decisions about who's going to be SOO and COO, then later who our new COMs will be. With those decisions made, we find ourselves here on the promised announcement day.

As previously announced, VA John T. Clark is stepping into the SOO role and AD Miles Prower is the new COO. GN Elwood the Brave resigned from his COOA secondary role and was awarded the GOE for his service. COL Doyon will be joining the Combat Operations Office as a COOA to work with AD Prower and COL Silvius to help manage the constant stream of screenshots that the TIE Corps creates in addition to running our many multiplayer competitions.

For the Commodore positions, I was surprised by how many officers that had served as admirals previously wanted to step back into admiralty roles to mentor the CMDRs and chart new courses for our two battlegroups. That's not to say that we didn't have any officers apply who don't have quite as much history behind them, since we did. Some of them might be destined to take on these COM roles in the future, so we'll be working on building them up so that they'll be ready when that time comes to pass.

We've selected HA Elwood the Brave as Commodore of the ISDII Hammer, as AD Prower recently announced. Woody last served as HamCOM back in 2014 and early 2015 on his way to SOO and TCCOM after that. Saying that he knows how the TIE Corps works would be greatly understating his experience, which makes him a great officer to have in a Commodore role.

Taking the helm of the ISDII Warrior's battlegroup will be FA Silvius, who recently completed an extraordinary three year tour as COO and will now be putting his extensive experience to work as WarCOM. Unlike Woody, Silvius hasn't been a COM before so he'll be getting to see a new aspect of our day-to-day operations.

With those positions now staffed, our attention can return to the positions of WARD, EDR, and now Epsilon CMDR. If you'd like to apply for any of those positions, email me, VA Clark, and AD Prower. Please add HA Elwood the Brave if you're applying for Epsilon CMDR.

About the TIE Corps Admiralty Board: It's not presented this way in the database yet, but the TCAB is officially composed of all the admirals in the TIE Corps. Currently, that's the TCCOM, SOO, COO, HamCOM, and WarCOM. If we find ourselves in need of a third COM to lead a third battlegroup, they'll be a member of the TCAB as well. As much as possible, I'll be consulting the full TCAB on how to direct and support the growth of the TIE Corps. For the really high-level decisions, the TIE Corps Command Staff (TCCS) will be making those calls. The TCCOM, SOO, and COO are the three members of the TCCS.

Recently, GN Elwood the Brave resigned from the position of COOA after having processed thousands of screenshots over about a year and a half. It's a tedious, tiring, repetitive, sometimes mind-numbing process that often goes unrecognized for long periods of time, but it's a critical task that can't be automated in a foolproof way and so a few of us are stuck doing it by hand in order to make sure that everyone gets credit for all the MP missions they've flown.

For his selfless service to the TIE Corps over such a long period of time, I've awarded Woody the Grand Order of the Emperor. This is his second GOE, something only a handful of officers have achieved during their careers. Congratulations, General!

MAJ Alejandro Araujo, CMDR of Alpha Squadron, has been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel based on his COM's recommendation:

'Alejandro Araujo has shown exemplary performance over the last few months. He has shown consistent performance that netted him three Imperial Security Medals, a Palpatine Crescent and now a Silver Star in his term as a Major. I believe it is befitting to advance him to the next rank of Lieutenant Colonel with the consideration of the Admiralty Board.'

SL Griggs D'Arc of Rho Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant based on his CMDR's recommendation:

'Since joining Rho Squadron, SL Griggs D'Arc has wasted little time finding his bearings. He updated his INPR, joined the conversation on Discord and Telegram, uploaded a uniform, participated in the Trivia Grand Tour, and passed his first IU course. For this level of activity, I recommend a promotion.'
