After some time with 4-flight squadrons onboard the ISDII Warrior, it was decided to restructure back down to 12-member squadrons to be more uniform with the fleet. This means a return to Sigma Squadron.
Sigma Squadron's newest commander is MAJ Wreckage, who has returned to the fleet from his most recent stay on the M/FRG Phoenix. Joining him in Squadron leadership will be CM JetMech.
Join me in wishing them success in their mission; fly, fight, win!

From the Commander of Lambda Squadron, COL Genie:
Over these past four months (March-June 2022), Wolve has achieved three Silver Stars of the Empire and one Bronze! Simply amazing! Not only that, but in this time he has flown 190 LoCs, 773 LoS and a staggering 900+ missions (testing my math abilities). He is as a result on the top most wanted list of the New Republic with a high bounty on his head! I highly recommend him for the rank of Commander!
Congratulations, CM Wolve Excelsior Berkana!
From the Commander of Raven Squadron, GN Stryker:
Since joining Firebird, Atashi has been a vital part of keeping the squadron alive; whether through simply being there to talk, or acting as a bridge between Firebird pilots and pilots from other squadrons. Her bubbly and approachable personality, mixed with her dedication to the Squadron will continue to prove vital in Raven Squadron as she steps into the role of Squadron XO. For this, she has more than earned a promotion to Lieutenant Commander.
Congratulations, LCM Atashi Rain!
From the Commander of Rho Squadron, CPT Westric Davalorn:
For the successful completion of a mission in service to the Empire, we proudly recommend Skwidjm be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
Congratulations, LT Skwidjm!
From the Commander of Inferno Squadron, CPT Xylo Pethtel:
Having earned their first legion of skirmish and returning successfully from the training mission, it is my pleasure to recommend the promotion of Saeko Shan to the rank of Lieutenant.
Congratulations, LT Saeko Shan!
I am pleased to announce that Commander Witchblade has been selected to lead the reestablishment of Gamma Squadron, the Hammers sixth and final squadron. Witchblade is the former Beta Squadron XO and we wish her the best of luck with her new posting. Good luck!
From Epsilon Squadron CMDR GN Jarek La’an:
CPT Witcher has provided long and faithful service to Epsilon - as a Flight Member from Dec 2011, a Flight Leader from Dec 2020 and ultimately as Squadron XO from Mar 2021. Offering continuity, experience and a ready ear to new joiners he's epitomised the welcoming atmosphere Epsilon seeks to deliver. Having supported the squadron in competitions and accrued a multitude of merit medals, I'm very pleased to see his flight activity and fiction writing resume in the recent Re-Mob, giving me the ability to recommend him for immediate promotion to the rank of Major. Fully deserved and well done!
Congratulations, MAJ Witcher!
Our pals at DF-21 have been working on a new map editor for Dark Forces, and have finally released the 3D Render Sync update to WDFUSE. They have released a news article about it here and have also included a brand new tutorial for modding Dark Forces using WDFUSE even if you haven't ever made mods for it here.
You can download the latest version of WDFUSE online here.
From the Commodore of the ISDII Warrior, VA Marenta:
For just over a year, as the Commander of Kappa Squadron, LC Aardvark has been an outstanding example of bearing, leading a group of skilled pilots and continuing his levels of activity and engagement with Kappa Squadron, the ISDII Warrior, and the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps. He has promoted all activity to Kappa as well as encouraging Squadron ReMobilization 4 participation.
He has competed in TIE Corps in Battle, Jigsaw Puzzle Extravaganza, Laugh it up Fuzzballs, Challenge with Words, Bounty Hunter's Puzzling Dilemma, and Signal Scramble Infection as well as creating and starting his own competitions for Kappa Squadron.
It is for these reasons, and his continuous contributions to Kappa Squadron, that I proudly recommend Aardvark for promotion to Colonel.
Congratulations, COL Aardvark!
For earning a first set of four Legions of Skirmish SL Danvil Hawks of Thunder Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant.
Congratulations, LT Danvil Hawks!
From Inferno Squadron CMDR CPT Xylo Pethtel:
Long having served Inferno Squadron in missions for the Emperor, Commander Cody Lance has led his flight dutifully for months, and the history of awards dates much further back. With a storied profile, an enthusiastic and capable mindset, and genuine heart, I am proud to recommend Cody be promoted to Captain, effective Immediately.
Congratulations, CPT Cody Lance!
Gamma Squadron, the ISD-II Hammer's sixth and final squadron is close to being reactivated due to rising membership numbers. This will require the selection of a new Squadron Commander to oversee the reactivation of the squadron and lead it into Raise the Flag that will be occurring later this year.
The chance to rebuild a fresh squadron doesn't come around very often, so if you are interested please reach out to me via email or Discord and we can talk over what the role would include and how to apply.
For completing her first set of three Single Player Missions, and filling in her INPR SL Nova Discordia, of Epsilon Squadron is promoted to full Lieutenant.
Congratulations, LT Nova Discordia!
From Sin Squadron CMDR MAJ SkyShadow:
Over the last two months Hollow has shown exemplary activity and displayed all of the traits of a top pilot in the TIE Corps. Completing an impressive 177 Legions, Hollow is a regular communicator and often shares their aspirations and advice with fellow squad mates and has recently celebrated the completion of the TCCORE exam.
Showing tireless dedication to skill at flying, which has not gone unnoticed, it is with great pleasure that I can recommend Hollow for the promotion to Lieutenant Commander.
Congratulations, LCM Hollow!
For completing the TCCORE IU course SL Tyris Sal of Thunder Squadron is promoted to full Lieutenant.
Congratulations, LT Tyris Sal!
For completing his INPR SL Von Barricello of Raven Squaron has been promoted to full Lieutenant.
Congratulations, LT Von Barricello!
From Theta Squadron CMDR CPT Vapen Vanman:
Since arriving at Theta Squadron, WhatsUpDock has been a huge asset, amassing over 250 LoC's and earning a Silver Star in his second month. He also helped the Warrior to victory in Imperial Storm, flying (and winning) 4 PvP matches for the competition. For these reasons, and an excellent score of 94% on the TCCORE, I proudly recommend What'sUpDock for promotion.
Congratulations, LCM WhatsUpDock!
The ISDII Warrior will be restructuring back down to 12-member squadrons, and that means that we will be opening up Psi and/or Sigma and would like to open up applications to the entire fleet. Since we will be restructuring the squadrons, you will have pilots that were assigned to other Warrior squadrons before the shift, so you will need to be willing to work with their former CMDRs to get up to speed on your pilots. So, this is an interesting dynamic, and you will need to be flexible.
I will be accepting applications through July 25. With your application tell me what leadership experience you have (either in the EH or real life), what types of activity you would like to run, and how you would foster a new squadron identity. You can email me (marenta@gmail.com) or DM me your application, and if there are any follow-on questions I will reach out.
For the might of the Empire!
From mid-June to mid-July, all TIE Corps squadrons were tasked with completing objectives to earn awards and the ability to change things about their roster that we don’t usually change. Listed below are all the squadrons that successfully completed at least one task. Great work, everyone!
Lambda Squadron, 8 of 8 tasksFrom Warrior Commodore VA Marenta:
Since his appointment as the Commander of Theta Squadron, CM Vapen "Doc" Vanman has continued to exhibit the bearing and dignity befitting Theta Squadron, leading a combination of old and new pilots and continuing his levels of activity and engagement with Theta Squadron, the ISDII Warrior, and the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps. He has encouraged Theta to participate in all available competitions as well as Squadron ReMobilization 4. Before his appointment to CMDR, he served as both FL and XO during Imperial Storm 4 in Rho before transferring to Theta.
He has competed in Chalquilla Cup, Protocol Pandemonium, and Signal Scramble Infection as well as creating and starting his own competitions for Theta Squadron.
Congratulations, CPT Vapen Vanman!

From the Commander of Alpha Squadron, LC Alejandro Araujo:
Our newest pilot , SL TY Seerlan, did initiate his activities by flying BoP-TC 23 and let us take into account his initiative at actually reaching his CMDR for active comms. Therefore, I am very happy to recommend this promotion to full Lieutenant.

After the transition of the Imperial University records over to the new site at the end of June, our team has completed the process of making needed adjustments to the courses. Between both manual and automated editing, we have corrected several thousand “content glitches” in the course notes and exams, including problems with encoding and other junk characters, missing images, problematic formatting, incorrect Course Administrative Data, etc. The purpose was to address the most significant problems impacting the ability to view notes and take exams. (This was not a deep-dive into content, which will be gradually updated as necessary by the TO.)
This release also implemented support for automated scoring. Members taking the TIE Corps Core (TCCORE) course will now receive immediate results for their exam. The results screen will provide members with their score, as well as a list of the questions they did not correctly answer. Note that by design they will not be provided the correct answer; the intent is that they re-review the relevant course notes to identify and understand the correct answer for themselves.
Other courses may support automated scoring in the future.
Please report any technical problems encountered while viewing notes or taking exams on the IO issues tracker, located at https://github.com/emperorshammer/issues-incoming-queue. You may also report concerns regarding content at this location as well. Content-related issues will be handed over to the new TO once the position has been filled. Kindly keep technical and content-related reports segregated into individual issues to facilitate these lanes of responsibility.
Thanks to FA Pickled Yoda and CM Sylas Pitt for their assistance reviewing and fixing materials.

Based on a proposal we received from MAJ LegionX and GN Stryker, we've got a new game for you to play for the Legion of Combat and the Legion of Skirmish.
Star Wars: Empire at War (EaW) was first released in 2006 and is currently available on Steam and GOG. We recommend the Steam version because it's significantly easier to get connected for multiplayer compared to GOG.
As we've done with the two EA Battlefront games, we'll support both space and ground battles in EaW. I believe that this is the first time we'll be supporting a real-time strategy (RTS) game for Legions, which represents our willingness to expand the TIE Corps' collection of both games and game types. As a reminder, TIE Corps pilots have never been obligated to play every game in our lineup and this will continue to be true as we make fine additions to our collection.
Like some of our other MP games, EaW allows players to set up multiplayer matches in a way that could be easier or shorter than we'd like. Requirements for PvE and PvP matches will be added to the COO Manual. We'll also need two screenshots per match, one for the game setup screen and one to reflect that the match was won.
The COO Manual and database screenshot forms have been updated to include Empire at War, so check out https://wiki.emperorshammer.org/COO:Combat_Operations_Manual#Platforms to see the specific game setup requirements and the database is ready to accept screenshot submissions.
The TFTC-R competition has finished, congrats to the winners RA Colo Delste (HS, Writing), CPT Wildfire (Speed) and COL Westric Davalorn (GFX) !
The Tactical Office is also excited to announce the introduction of TFTC-Campaign as a new category in the Battle Center.
