Since commissioning with the Tie Corps on the fifth day of the fourth month of our current Imperial year, 31 ABY, LCM Isabis Kamaria has been a force for victory. She has earned third overall in the individual tallies for this year’s Raise the Flag, first overall on the PvP Killboard for May, third overall for June, third overall for July, fourth overall for August, and first overall in September - when her efforts more than doubled the second place PvP pilot for the month.

A broad contributor to the organization, LCM Isabis Kamaria is a reliable participant in non-combat competitions, and in special combat events. She earned first place overall out of the top 10 for the first round of the Raise the Flag Fiction event, and fifth place overall out of the top 10 for the second round of the Fiction event. Her efforts added 2056 words of creative entries to the Imperial Library for the glory of her Squadron.

She has provided endless guidance on technical matters in support of her squad mates, created a training suite for pilots new to digital graphics, helped to elevate the proposal for the Tie Rhodium to success with various renderings and skillful editing of the contents, and assisted in the efficiency calculations that helped Rho Squadron and Battlegroup II shape their massive efforts in Raise the Flag.

For the broad efforts, the 1244 Legions of Combat, the 204 Legions of Skirmish, Silver Stars of the Empire earned each full month of her membership, and especially for her intangible contributions to the morale of Rho Squadron - now serving as Flight 3 leader - we proudly recommend LCM Isabis Kamaria be elevated to the rank of Commander.

Focusing on academic pursuits and contributions to the Imperial Library, LT Jaquel Rainrix has completed 8 courses, earned the Certificate in Flight Operations from the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School, and documented over 8700 words of original fiction.

Additionally, LT Jaquel Rainrix has shown his skills in combat and the training simulators - claiming victory in eight Legions of Combat and three Legions of Skirmish.

Taking inspiration from his own thesis, COL Locke Setzer put together this course to add to the Imperial University's archives of knowledge and information for all members to enjoy. I'm excited to announce a couple of fun changes to the site.

1. The Awards tab on member personnel records has been significantly redesigned to graphically showcase your medals/awards. Each element is clickable to show additional information, and works effectively on mobile. There have also been small tweaks to a couple of other tabs.

2. Campaigns have been added to the system. An Emperor's Hammer campaign is a named operation that advances the EH plotline with broad participation by members in one or more subgroups. A General Campaign Medal (GCM) with appropriate clasp may be awarded to participants in approved campaigns. The General Campaign Medal is awarded to commemorate these campaigns and is displayed on profiles only. (It is considered to be part of a new category of awards and by design is not displayed on the uniform.)

The first named campaign is Neutralization of the Ishtari, part of Imperial Storm V. Participants are eligible to receive campaign credit and the General Campaign Medal with Assurian Halo clasp. (This recognition was previously announced in the IS V competition listing, and AD Phoenix Berkana will be working through the eligibility list in the near future and assigning credit in the system.)

In the eighteen months since his return from the Reserves, Colonel Boliv has been a cornerstone of BG3. After finding success as a FM, SQXO and CMDR in Firebird Squadron, Triji reopened Typhoon Squadron exactly six months ago today; with his small but dedicated band of veteran pilots, Triji and Typhoon were not content to rest on laurels of the past - they hit the ground running, seeking new ways to improve their game and contribute to the TC. In RtF 2023, Triji led Typhoon Squadron to a respectable 5th place - a feat they intend to improve upon next year.

Furthermore, Triji has been a valuable advisor and sounding board for competition ideas and other behind-the-scenes organizational matters that go with the BGCOM role; without him, my backlog would be way longer than it is.

The Training Office is proud to announce the activation of the next Graduate qualification available for members to earn - the Graduate of the Dark Arts!

Focusing on the core aspects of the Dark Brotherhood, this Graduate qualification encourages a greater understanding of the history of the Force and the mechanical knowledge that goes into their weapons. Members will be writing a fiction for the Dark Brotherhood, and it will be under the scrutiny of the Dark Council for its final grade.

Raise the Flag 2023 has finally come to an end, it's been a fantastic month with some fantastic statistics. Over 9000 multiplayer matches submitted, over 250 Imperial University exams sat, 180 single player battles requiring manual review and 96 pieces of art and 67 pieces of fiction created.

It was a closely fought competition with several battles going down to the wire on the final day, which is a testament to the membership of the TIE Corps for whom this competition is all about.

I would like to congratulate our eventual victors, Battlegroup II claimed the crown as the new flag-group (official term to be decided upon), whilst Lambda Squadron have successfully defended their position as the TCCOM's Escort Squadron and LT Vanguard88 has taken the place as the TCCOM's Wingman.

Finally and most importantly I want to thank you, the members of the TIE Corps as without you this competition would never fly, your efforts this year have been stupendous and we will be circulating a short survey in the coming days to capture feedback whilst still fresh in your minds.
