After passing the Combat Operations Exam (COE/2), LCM Therj'en'nuruodo has been selected as the latest Combat Operations Office Assistant. In this role, he will be helping the TIE Corps validate pilots' flying records, managing combat events, and keeping the cogs that run the TIE Corps greased!
Attention all pilots - a reminder that TIE Corps Exercise: Squadron (Re)Mobilization 5 comes to a end at 23:59:59 UTC on Friday the 30th of June, so little over 48 hours from now.
Please check in with your Squadron Commander about any outstanding tasks your squad may have left to complete from the list here: https://tc.emperorshammer.org/competitions.php?id=3571.
From Gamma Squadron CMDR CPT Witchblade:
Commander Maximus Meridius has served as the Gamma Squadron XO for seven months and continues to be a reliable and incredibly active member of Gamma.
He is always around no matter how busy real life gets and can be relied upon to lead through doing, a feat he shows time and time again as currently stands second on the TIE Corp kill board with close to 800 Legions of Combat from 2023 so far.
During his time with Gamma he has never managed to not pick up a Bronze or Silver Star during the monthly evaluations, which speaks volumes to his dedication to the TIE Corps and his squadron.
I am pleased to be able to reward this track record with a promotion to the rank of Captain.
Congratulations, CPT Maximus Meridius!
From the Commander of Theta Squadron, LC Vapen Van’an:
It is one of the pleasures of a Squadron Commander when they get the opportunity to promote a stellar pilot and acknowledge their accomplishments. Captain JetMech is one such individual that has faithfully served the ISDII Warrior and her pilots. He brings with him a strong dedication to providing guidance to his squadron as well as the motivation to stand as an example of activity and engagement. He thrived in the dynamic and challenging environment of Squadron Commander, Battlegroup Commander, and now Flight Leader. He brings boundless ingenuity and enthusiasm to competitions across the TIE Corps. Notably, he was also directly responsible for the performance of Sigma Squadron during Raise the Flag 2022, earning sixteenth place in the fleet overall and fifth place on the ISDII Warrior.
In the previous six months he has: placed 4th in Emperor’s Hammer at War, 3rd in Fleetwide Maintenance, 1st in Holos for the Holidays, 1st in Thunder’s Assassin’s Invitational, participated in X-Wing Alliance Fast Flights, and participated in Commodity Rush Time. He also currently runs one competition for the entire TIE Corps; submitted five Sigma Squadron reports; received five Imperial Achievement Ribbons; and received one Silver Star, two Palpatine Crescents, and one Imperial Service Medal for his contributions during his tenure as Captain.
It is for these reasons, and his continuous contributions to Sigma Squadron, BG2, and now Theta Squadron, that I proudly recommend JetMech for promotion to Major.
Congratulations, MAJ JetMech!
From Sin Squadron CMDR LC andr3:
In the three months since their last promotion, Lieutenant Commander Rui Borges has been participating in numerous competitions and has shown an overall activity level which is exemplary. They have won:
Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon
Iron Star with Copper Ribbon
Iron Star with Bronze Wings
Iron Star with Silver Wings
Iron Star with Gold Wings
Palpatine Crescent
Bronze Star of the Empire
2x Silver Star of the Empire
13x Operational Readiness Award
6x Imperial Achievement RibbonAs such they set an example for the Squadron. They have been studious in the IU and active in the chat as well as via email – always ready to encourage and support others, pushing forward new ideas. It seemed only like a logical consequence that they took on the responsibility as a Flight Leader of Sin.
Congratulations, CM Rui Borges!
I am pleased to be able to announce some improvements in our archived club materials. As of a couple of days ago, we have completed a restoration of numerous archived club newsletters, such as the Emperor's Hammer Dark Sentinel and TIE Corps Battlecry, and related materials. This one has been on my list for a couple years now. With about a week of Squadron (Re)Mobilization remaining, this content should provide some additional resources to support the Wiki editing tasks for our members who enjoy trawling through historical Emperor's Hammer information.
These changes include:
- Restored the original Dark Sentinel ZIPs that contain the additional non-embedded files for NLs 13-47. These came from 15+ year old server backups, and I think had not been publically available since that time.
- Manually de-virused NLs 46 and 47 (which contained a macro virus since they were originally released!) and updated the ZIPs.
- Found and uploaded the long-lost NL 105.
- Corrected NL 111 numbering (originally issued as a duplicate of 107).
- Moved everything onto the archives subdomain and built 301 redirects. Updated the newsletter archive to provide updated and accurate links to each edition.
- Removed the PDF copies of NLs 1-47 since these were essentially 'pictures' of the front page of the newsletter, and didn't contain the actual embedded content.
- Uploaded the TIE Corps Battlecry archive as well as some misc newsletter-type items (a big thanks to Xander Drax for sending these!).
To get started, members will find most of what they would be looking for on the Newsletters page. This page now includes links to view/download PDF, HTML, or ZIP versions of the Dark Sentinel, as applicable/available. In the near future the Logistics Officer and I will coordinate the conversion of the 11 remaining pre-NL48 newsletters (when they switched to native HTML format) over to HTML.
Members looking to get more in-depth with the archived materials can head over to the archives site that now provides a few links for navigating the archives. Most portions of the archives will allow directory browsing, which is useful for viewing the additional files of NLs 1-47 without needing to download the ZIP package. (Some technical information concerning the early NLs is also available at https://wiki.emperorshammer.org/Dark_Sentinel)
I am pleased to announce the award of the Gold Star of the Empire to LC Westric Davalorn!
Thanks for all of your hard work as we've worked through this project.
For exceptional and noteworthy service to the Emperor’s Hammer Internet and Reconnaissance Offices. In support of the Internet Office, LC Westric Davalorn led the effort to modernize the web site’s Craft List using updated models and rendering techniques to generate higher-resolution renders. After developing a suitable rendering process, working over a period of months he meticulously completed 170 renders of craft depicted on the Craft List by working with models sourced primarily from the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade team. This volume of work is no casual undertaking. In addition to 3D models sourced externally, Westric took the initiative to update Emperor’s Hammer-original models. This included 3D editing and assembly of disparate components to update craft OPTs (models), as well as utilizing techniques such as AI upscaling to update ship textures. This work improved the quality of the finished product, and will also be a resource for future efforts in updating the downloadable ship patches for use within the upgraded X-Wing Alliance platform. The final rendered images are currently available on the Craft List, and will be a valuable asset as information for the Fleet Manual and Order of Battle is updated and transitioned over to the new site. Leveraging these skills and techniques to support multiple projects, Westric also completed 29 renders in support of the Reconnaissance Office’s social media outreach efforts. These renders were successfully used in nearly 90 social media posts, and directly contributed to the Reconnaissance Office’s efforts to depict the thematic elements of the Emperor’s Hammer and the TIE Corps. LC Westric Davalorn’s performance of duty is in keeping with the finest traditions of Emperor’s Hammer service, and reflects great credit upon himself, Rho Squadron of Wing II, and the ISDII Warrior.

From Battlegroup II BGCOM AD Marenta Jean:
Major andr3 has become a cornerstone member of Battlegroup II, by being an exemplary leader of Sin Squadron, and a role model for all of the pilots he serves with. He has developed administrative changes that enhance a Commander’s ability to track pilots as well as serving as a motivator for up and coming leaders within the Battlegroup.
During his four months of service as a Major, he has: placed 7th as SP Ace of the TIE Corps for March; placed 8th overall SP Ace of the TIE Corps for Season 1 2023; placed 5th as SP Ace of the TIE Corps for May; placed 9th for TF in Round 1 of Season 6 TCiB; placed 10th for TF and 10th for XWA in Round 2 of Season 6 TCiB; placed 6th for TF, 10th for XvT, and 10th for XWA in Round 3 of Season 6 TCiB; placed 7th for TF, 9th for XvT, 7th for XWA in Round 4 of Season 6 TCiB. While his competition activity proves his dedication, he strives to enrich himself further with completing many Imperial University courses as well as obtaining two Certificates for his efforts. Not only does he pursue his own matriculation, he further contributes to the entire fleet with completing 133 Single Player missions, providing 28 reviews, and monthly reports.
I am ever thankful that andr3 has come to serve in Battlegroup II, and it is my most fervent wish that he continues in his role as Commander with the new rank of Lieutenant Colonel
Congratulations, LC andr3!

From Theta Squadron CMDR LC Vapen Van’an:
One of a Squadron Commander's privileges is to recognize pilots for their valiant efforts in service of the Empire. One such pilot, CM Tiran Marr, has served Theta Squadron, the Warrior, BG2, and the TC with valor over the past six months. He has received a Silver Star, multiple Bronze Stars, and an Imperial Security Medal. In addition he has helped descramble coded transmissions in Signal Scramble Infection, as well as answer numerous rounds of Trivia. He has also passed 10 Imperial University courses in this time. Notably, he was instrumental in helping to design and test the new paint scheme for Theta pilot helmets, which are now standard issue for the squadron. For these reasons, and his contributions to squadron morale and communication, I am proud to recommend Tiran Marr's promotion to Captain.
Congratulations, CPT Tiran Marr!
For completing their first Imperial University course, and no less than TCCORE, SL Oudik-Delta-4 of Sin Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant.
Congratulations, LT Oudik-Delta-4!
From Rho Squadron CMDR MAJ Alexandre Morgan:
Every commander's dream is a squadron full of Isabis Kamarias -- she is exemplary in flight, a factory of Legions of both types and a skilled pilot in multiple games; she is beyond personable, always quick with a joke, a laugh, or a kind comment; and she is unparalleled in her dedication, fully immersing herself in the myriad offerings that the TIE Corps presents to her. From being recommended a Silver Star and earning first place on the PvP killboard during her first full month in Rho, to always hopping in voice chats to encourage and chat, and to breaking barriers in TTT3 and graciously teaching her commander her methods to achieve the seemingly-impossible, Isabis unceasingly sets the metaphorical bar high for each member of the Rho family, leading from the front and inspiring the rest of us to rise to her stellar example.
I could obviously rave about Isabis for paragraphs on end, but I suppose I do need to save some material for the many promotions I'm sure are to come for her. I very enthusiastically recommend Isabis be promoted to Lieutenant Commander, and I eagerly await the chance to fill out this form for her again.
Congratulations, LCM Isabis Kamaria!
For completing the TCCORE Imperial University course at an impressive 100%, SL asche of Lambda Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant.
Congratulations, LT asche!
