For earning a first set of Legions of Skirmish in Star Wars: Squadrons, SL Foxy of Spear Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant.
Congratulations, LT Foxy!
From Firebird Squadron CMDR GN Master:
Since joining Firebird Squadron earlier this year, LT Hector Von Ricmore has been an outstanding asset. His unwavering dedication and exceptional piloting skills have significantly strengthened our team. During the “Raise the Flag” operation, Hector’s contributions were invaluable, greatly benefiting both the Squadron and the Fleet.
It is with great pleasure that I recommend him for promotion to Lieutenant Commander.
Congratulations, LCM Hector Von Ricmore!
From Typhoon Squadron CMDR GN Triji Boliv:
Commander Anthony Starr has been with Typhoon Squadron for a year now, and has been a very dependable and consistent member of the squadron. Participating in a variety of ways, Commander Starr has contributed to Typhoon's standings in many fleet-wide competitions, as well as representing Typhoon in many Battlegroup trivia competitions quite respectably. Most recently, Commander Starr made an impressive showing in Raise the Flag 2024, flying nearly 100 single player missions, among other things, contributing to Typhoon Squadron's 5th place overall finish! It is therefore my great pleasure to recommend Commander Anthony Starr for the long over-due rank of Captain!
Congratulations, CPT Anthony Starr!
From Rho Squadron CMDR LC Maston Dane:
LT Shantell has only been in Rho a short time. Initially she was apart of Sword Squadron but requested a transfer to Rho to be in the same Squadron as her husband so they could better share all that is available to them, together. Something I found to be quite beautiful. We should all be so lucky to not only have this place where there are people we love but to share it with those we love around us. She fought hard for us during RtF and was an important component to our success. She did many matches and also passed 5 exams, getting 100% correct on 4 of them, History of the Dark Lords, Nature of the Darkside, Part II and Part III, and Steam Introduction and got 92% correct on Nature of the Darkside, Part I.
Nyine has been a Lieutenant since 2024-06-20 and has earned at least an ISM each of the 2 months required as a LT and again has taken and passed the TCCORE. There is no more promising a pilot than the pilot who is excited she’s here, ready to bring justice forcefully to the Rebels. I’m proud and honored to have her among us. She has such great potential and has handled herself admirably. I hereby, with great pride, recommend she be given the rank of Lieutenant Commander for the month of October 2024.
Congratulations, LCM Shantell Nyine!
From Kappa Squadron CMDR GN Aardvark:
LCM C Wrench has proven to be a valuable asset to the Fleet and demonstrated his loyalty and prowess in battle. Having obtained the requisite time in service and displaying consistent dedication to the success of the TIE Corp by earning an equivalent number of merit medals, I recommend that LCM C Wrench is promoted to the rank of Commander (CM).
Congratulations, CM C Wrench!
From Scorpion Squadron CMDR GN Jarek La’an:
For his excellent service both as a Scorpion pilot and as a Flight Leader, growing in confidence and ability while having met all prerequisites, I have the distinct pleasure of recommending LT Lightbringer for promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Congratulations, LCM Gilifreid Lightbringer!
From Kappa Squadron CMDR GN Aardvark:
CM Gabba Gabbagool is a trusted and loyal member of Kappa Squadron, leading by example and never shirking his duties. He has demonstrated his skill in battle on countless occasions by consistently placing on the PVP killboards and frequently participates in social comm channels. To recognize his contributions and value to Squadron, Ship and Fleet, I recommend that Gabba Gabbagool is promoted to the rank of Captain (CPT).
Congratulations, CPT Gabba Gabagool!
From Sin Squadron CMDR LC Honsou:
In the wake of Imperial Storm 6, and the TIE Corps' tactical withdrawal from the Tkon Rift to repair and rearm, LCM Gian Webb requested a transfer to the reserves. This request was honoured and there he remained as the Squadrons of the TIE Corps engaged in ReMobilisation. However, the call to arms was clearly too strong and the dutiful pilot and soldier returned to active duty in Sin Squadron, not two weeks before the TIE Corps struck back into the Tkon Rift...
A great performance, both in the cockpit of his new TIE Sinister and on the ground as a founding member of the newly named Sinfantry, earned LCM Gian Webb an abundance of acolades during the liberation of the Tkon Rift. When this is added to an exemplary service prior to his time as a reservist, I hereby take great pride in recommending that Gian Webb be promoted to the rank of Commander (CM) within the TIE Corps!
Congratulations, CM Gian Webb!
From Lambda Squadron CMDR COL Gytheran:
Over the last several months, LCM Asche has been putting in the flight time, ensuring our enemies are kept at bay and our organizational objectives are met. For his dedication to the success of the TIE Corps, I am happy to recommend Asche be promoted to the rank of Commander! Utinni!
Congratulations, CM asche!
From Lambda Squadron CMDR COL Gytheran:
Since June, LT Andar has proved to be a valuable member of Lambda Squadron and we are happy to have him! I am pleased to be able to recommend that Hugo Andar be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander! Utinni!
Congratulations, LCM Hugo Andar!
From Lambda Squadron CMDR COL Gytheran:
In his first four months he as LCM, Sam Arsio has shown to be a dedicated pilot in the TIE Corps, earning 218 skirmish and 80 combat victories, being awarded 3 Bronze Stars of the Empire and one Palpatine Crescent! I am happy to recommend Sam Arsio be promoted to the rank of Commander! Utinni!
Congratulations, CM Sam Arsio!
From Rho Squadron CMDR LC Maston Dane:
Vanguard is inarguably one of the most skilled pilots active in the TIE Corps. He consistently medals Silver Stars, mainly from a masterful skill of SP, high scores, bug reports and reviews and regularly takes the top spot on the SP Killboards. He turned heads as top pilot for RtF 2023 and repeated the feat for 2024. He has also set a mind blowing 1,000+ high scores. We're lucky to have him amongst our ranks in the TIE Corps.
He was promoted to Commander in February of 2024 and has earned 6 MSE medals since then as an FM. There is no more promising a pilot than the pilot who is excited they’re here, ready to bring justice forcefully to the Rebel Scum. I’m particularly proud and honored to have this incredible pilot in Rho and I am thrilled to hereby recommend he be given the rank of Captain for the month of October 2024!
Congratulations, CPT Vanguard88!
Raise the Flag 2024 has come to a conclusion!
With the addition of the final bonus round points to the tracker and the finalization of meme scores we are done for 2024!
First and foremost, congratulations to everyone who took part in this years competition! We had a number of good battles over the month of September between squadrons and individuals as they leap frogged one another on the leaders board and I hope you all had fun in taking part.
The final standings can be found in the graphic below, so please join me in congratulating Battlegroup II (led by the ISD Warrior) who have retained their title as the TIE Corps Flagship, Rho Squadron who have taken on the mantle as the TCCOM's Escort Squadron and CM Vanguard88 who defended his position as the TCCOM's Wingman.
Given the campaign nature of this years Raise the Flag, a campaign medal will also be forthcoming for all members who took part in the liberation of the TKon Rift from the threat of the Kilji, who now exit the EH story-arc as we move on towards 2025!
Whilst the dust has barely settled on Raise the Flag 2024 with some final scores still coming out over the course of the weekend, the TIE Corps is already looking ahead to Imperial Storm 2025.
I'm putting together a brainstorming group to flesh out some ideas we're working on, so if you are interested in taking part in this conversation please reach out to me via email or discord and I'll include you in this.
The intention is to discuss some of the concepts we're playing with in a initial Discord voice-chat before we follow up with a wider audience.
For the final time this year we have a set of Raise the Flag bonus round results - this time for the 2nd Fiction Bonus Round. Well done to our Top Ten and all those that scored but didn't place, you made the grading a very tough challenge indeed! Without further ado...
After a month of many more submissions than usual, the MAA wanted to post a Guideline how to formulate an email:
E-Mails that will not match this Guidelines will be answered back and not be worked on until a clarification has been sent in.
Since Jai Thorne joined the Reconnaissance Office as an ROA, he has served with skill and exceptional dedication to the efforts of the Office and its other members. He has served as a beyond-reliable sounding board, a brilliant idea generator, and an overall wonderful person to have on staff.
To recognize this commitment, I have proudly selected Jai Thorne to serve as my second-in-command as the Command Attache to the Recon Office. I look forward to seeing all that he continues to accomplish!
Your judges are busy finishing up the final bits of the second bonus round, but hot off the press we have the placement for the Art Bonus Round Two!
Well done to all who took part and congratulations to our top 10!
For completing the TCCORE Imperial University Course, SL Samuel Smith of Theta Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant.
Congratulations, LT Samuel Smith!
From Firebird Squadron CMDR GN Master:
Since joining Firebird Squadron, IG-87 has proven to be an extraordinary addition. For a droid, IG-87 exhibits an unusual zest for battle, seemingly taking great pleasure in dismantling enemy craft with remarkable efficiency. In his short tenure, he has amassed an impressive collection of LoS and LoCs, showcasing his prowess and dedication.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment, it is a great honor to promote IG-87 to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Congratulations, IG-87! May your circuits continue to hum with the thrill of victory and may your opponents face a fatal error!
Congratulations, LCM IG-87!
For earning a first set of Legions of Skirmish in Destiny 2, SL Pietrors of Lambda Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant.
