Theta Squadron still has open availability and is currently seeking candidates for the positions of Squadron Executive Officer (SQXO) and Flight Leader (FL).

Battlegroup II has a proud history of being home to the "Escort Squadron" for the TIE Corps Commander. With an outstanding record of 5 Raise the Flag victories, Theta Squadron has a long history of upholding a tradition of excellence in service to our glorious Empire. We are currently seeking a few good pilots to carry on that tradition and to ensure our legacy of service is upheld.

Squadron Executive Officer (SQXO)
Position Description: The SQXO serves as the designated second-in-command of a squadron and performs any additional duties assigned by the CMDR.
This is a perfect opportunity for pilots wishing to help promote the overall health and growth of the Squadron. Active pilots in this position are usually the first interviewed for the higher position of Squadron Commander (CMDR).

Flight Leader (FL)
Position Description: The Flight Leader serves as a team leader for the three Flight Members within the flight to which they're assigned.
A Flight Leader position is perfect for those pilots who are interested in exploring a command and leadership role and would like to support the CMDR and the SQXO with the day to day tasks and duties of squadron operations.

Locke Setzer has been working as the Quaestor of House Palpatine for nearly a year, keeping things running, providing feedback, and making sure that the entire House has been enforcing the will of the Emperor. For his extensive work in tracking his House members and working towards the will of the Emperor, it is my pleasure to award him the Diamond Sword.

Khaz Bibble has spent their significant abilities and talent by overseeing all of the art and fiction produced by the Secret Order for the last year and a half. They were an incredibly important member of the Dark Council that provided an immeasurable level of importance to what we were creating, and in doing so, have earned the highest level of reward - the Golden Lightsaber.

Despite being a person of significant talent, Khaz Bibble has retired and has decided to farm, as Sith do sometimes. (They're not gone forever, just stepping back.) Locke Setzer will be taking up Khaz's previous position as Herald, working on promoting and reviewing fiction and art for the Secret Order. With this, Locke shall be promoted to the rank of Inquisitor. To take Locke's place, Sam Arsio will become the new Quaestor of House Palpatine.

Today, newly promoted MAJ Sam Arsio reached a massive milestone in his career as a pilot of the TIE Corps- reaching the 21st Echelon of the Flight Certification Wings. Join me in congratulating Sam Arsio on this massive achievement!

Between the moment of his prior promotion - on the eleventh day of the second month of this Imperial year - and recently when Captain Sam Arsio was awarded a Silver Star of the Empire, the Spear Squadron Commander has guided his crew to great accomplishments. During Imperial Storm, Spear Squadron set the pace for his Battlegroup while consistently building morale and participation.

A top tier pilot and crack commando, Captain Sam Arsio has amassed 48 Legions of Combat and 1244 Legions of Skirmish during this time. Captain Sam Arsio has now reached the Ace Ranger 2nd combat rating on his way to earning the 20th Echelon of Flight Certification.

Captain Sam Arsio performed leadership for and participated in morale building events within his Squadron and Battlegroup, and for the benefit of the entire TIE Corps operational fleet. He has also passed the Combat Operations Exam and the Reconnaissance Office Exam. Most recently among his efforts, Captain Sam Arsio has ensured that ongoing records of his Squadron’s accomplishments and history would be preserved in the form of an officially registered Squadron Report.

For these contributions and in celebration of his accomplishments, we proudly recommend Captain Sam Arsio be awarded the rank of Major - with all rights, privileges, and responsibilities entailed.

Some movement in the Warfare Office this past weekend!

Firstly our incumbent Warfare Officer Assistant (WOA), MAJ Wolve Excelsior Berkana has stood down from the position due to RL time commitments. He goes with my thanks for his efforts!

To fill the vacancy, I'd like to announce that of both LCM GamerRat and LCM Prot Azar will be joining the team as Warfare Officer Assistants (WOA).

The Tactical Office has been busy of late. You may have already seen the missions released for the end of the recent Imperial Storm competition, but Locke Setzer has also released one for X-Wing.

Today we also released a Jagged Fell remaster of a classic DB battle.

Since Aug 2024, Habu has amassed three SIlver Stars, 4 Bronze Stars and one Palpatine Crescent, having flown 251 LoCs, 634 LoSs and 291 Single Player Missions!

As Gamma Squadron's commander, Habu submitted 5 monthly reports, along with a much-needed Gamma Wiki page update. He completed studies with a Certificate in Force History, Certificate in Internet Technology, Certificate in Mandalorian Studies, and culminated those earning the Capstone Thesis as a 'Graduate of Starfighter Operations'.

On a personal level, he has reached the Ace 2nd and Ranger 1st Combat Ratings, along with a Paladin rating in the Fleet Commander's Honor Guard that has earned him a Flight Certification at the 19th Echelon.

Habu continues to be an example to follow for his squadron and one of Battlegroup I's lighting beacons!

It is my hope that his continued enthusiasm will rub-off to the rest of Gamma Squadron and BG I.

I proudly recommend him for the promotion to Major

His commitment to Gamma, particularly in the recent Imperial Storm challenge was exemplary. He continues to improve with Imperial University courses and is steadily moving up in all categories of Flight Certifications, reaching the 11th Echelon, with Combat Ratings of Veteran 4th and Private 1st.

His steadfast dedication to Emperor's Hammer in combat with 96 LOCs and 36 LOS's, proves he is deserving of advancement.

Since his promotion to Commander, on the 10th day of the 10th month in the year 32 ABY and the 31st day of the 3rd month 33ABY, CM Gian Webb has achieved multiple accolades. These include a Bronze Star of the Empire and reaching the 12th Echelon of their Flight Certification Wings. In this time they have been awarded 55 Legions of Skirmish from active Patrol duties. 11 Legions of Combat from engagement with the enemy, 28 additional missions from the Single Pilot Simulators, and completed two courses from the Imperial University. This is not to mention that since the 13th day of the 12th month 32 ABY CM Gian Webb has performed admirably in Sin Squadron's 3-1 position, as Flight Leader, and is a founding member of the Sinfantry.

In celebration of his accomplishments, it is with great pride that I recommend that CM Gian Webb be promoted to Captain (CPT) - with all rights, privileges, and responsibilities entailed.

After nine months of service as Squadron Commander of Scorpion, GN Jarek La’an has decided to step aside. As a result, applications are now open for Scorpion Squadron Commander!

Applicants are expected to have completed Squadron Management 6 (or any of its earlier versions), achieved at minimum the rank of Lieutenant Commander, and be willing and ready to take up the administrative work of running a squadron - including completing Monthly Squadron Evaluations, submitting medal recommendations, promotion recommendations, and more.

Imperial Storm VII comes to a close with the completion of our final set of battles. This past weekend saw the TIE Corps put up some superb scores which allowed us to achieve our goal of claiming the fueling depot that we sought to take from the First Order. Over the course of the last several weeks the TIE Corps Battlegroups have been successful in removing the First Order presence from the system, claiming several vessels in the process. Damage has been taken, but that leads us to our next competition - Squadron (Re)Mobilization which is currently scheduled for June 2025.
