Two Newspost in one day from the MAA?
What is going on?

Easy, Recently, I started a new Job and my online hours are rapidly declining, i'm in need of Magistrates that can help me bridge the gap, especially in those hours, where i am asleep, but most of our membership is not.
For now, i am searching two or more magistrates, that are willing to help with data intake of gaming activities and/or competition-designing, because we need more comps to promote activity. You will also help in designing exp rewards and help me and the DC to improve over time.
It is important to remark that you need a bit of spreadsheet experience, but having none is no automatic exclusion.

If you are interested, please send me a DM in Discord with your Application
Thanks!

Opening report file...

Hello Members of the Secret Order,

with the release of v2.0, we are updating the EXP curve used for rank progression.
The main goal of this change is to give our rank system more room to grow over time. As we have moved through the year, it has become clear that some members are already progressing beyond what the original curve was built to comfortably support. The revised curve is intended to make rank progression feel more sustainable, meaningful, and better paced going forward.

Rank and Positions

This update does not change the purpose of rank itself. Rank will continue to represent accumulated EXP and long-term activity within the club. Leadership positions, staff roles, and appointed responsibilities are separate from rank. A member does not need to hold a specific rank in order to serve in a leadership position, and being appointed to a leadership position will no longer automatically require or imply a rank promotion.
In short:
Rank reflects EXP and long-term activity.

Positions and titles reflect responsibility, trust, and leadership.
This allows us to recognize both things properly without forcing them to overlap. Someone can absolutely hold an important position while being at a lower rank, because their authority comes from the position itself, not from needing a matching rank.

Transition Into the New Curve

For the transition into the new curve, members will keep any rank they have already achieved. Nobody will be demoted or lose an earned rank because of this update.
However, if a member personally wishes to have their rank adjusted downward to match their current EXP under the revised structure, they may request this as a one-time voluntary adjustment during the transition period. This is entirely optional and will not be expected, encouraged, or required of anyone.
This option exists only for members who feel that aligning their rank with their EXP better reflects their own progression. Once the transition period has passed, future rank progression will follow the updated EXP requirements normally.

One-Time Promotion Adjustment

As a one-time transition measure, members who are within 10% of their next rank requirement at the time of the v2.0 update will be promoted to that next rank and will receive the missing EXP required for that promotion.
This is intended to avoid unfairly delaying members who were already very close to ranking up under the current system. We do not want someone who had nearly earned a promotion to suddenly have that goal moved much further away from them because of the new curve.
This one-time adjustment only applies during the transition to the new curve. After this, all future rank promotions will follow the updated EXP requirements normally.

Going Forward

After the transition, rank progression will follow the updated EXP curve.
Promotions will be based on accumulated EXP, while positions and titles will continue to represent leadership, trust, responsibility, and service to the club.

EXP earns rank. & Trust earns responsibility.

Personal Closing Note

I also want to add a personal note.
Since I argued strongly in favor of keeping rank progression tied to EXP rather than leadership position, I believe it is important that I apply that principle to myself as well. While the transition rule allows members to keep ranks they have already achieved, I personally do not feel right keeping a rank that my current EXP would not yet support under the revised structure. For that reason, I have asked for my own rank to be adjusted to the rank matching my EXP. This is not a request or expectation for anyone else to do the same. The agreed transition rule remains that already achieved ranks are kept, and any downward adjustment is entirely voluntary. This is simply a personal decision because I want my own rank to reflect the principle I advocated for.

It was my honor to be a Baron of the Secret Order, and I hope to carry that title again one day, should my path align with the stars.

Thank you all for your activity, your patience, and your continued investment in making the club better. The aim of this update is not to take anything away from anyone, but to make future progression clearer, fairer, and more meaningful.

RA Maston Dane awarded the Grand Order of the Emperor!

RA Tiran Marr

Approved by the Fleet Commander 5 JUN 35 ABY

Since joining the Emperor’s Hammer Training Office in February of 2024, Maston Dane has consistently displayed an extraordinarily high level of work ethic and dedication to the Office, far beyond what is both expected of him and outlined in his responsibilities as a Training Office Assistant. During his time within the Office, he has served as a member of the Education Committee, a course Professor, and a Training Office Assistant as mentioned previously. At the time of this recommendation, Maston has graded a total of 197 exams, assisted with the grading process of three (3) separate Thesis works, and has developed his own course within the University which is due to go live shortly.

Aside from the numerics, Maston is an engaging and influential voice within the Office. He is constantly hyper-vigilant, almost obsessively so, with monitoring exams which come into the queue. Oftentimes picking up professorless courses without being asked to help manage the workload for the rest of the Assistants and staff. Maston has been instrumental in helping ensure exams are graded within the 72-hour window according to the Training Office Manual, sending friendly reminders, helpful direct messages, and offering support in public chats wherever and whenever appropriate.

During Raise the Flag 2024, he was recognized as having graded the most number of exams out of any member of the Training Office. This record continued into 2025, where he graded the second-most number of exams across the Office. Running laps around both the Training Officer and myself when it comes to grading courses. The guy is an absolute machine when it comes to consistency and dedication to his job and has a genuine passion for his duties both within our Office and beyond.

Outside of his duties and responsibilities as a Training Office Assistant, Maston currently serves as the Command Attaché to the Reconnaissance Officer. A position which requires a significant level of commitment and dedication to the role yet Maston still somehow manages to exceed expectations and performance standards within the Training Office at the same time. The Grand Order of the Emperor is awarded to members for “service above and beyond the call of duty and valor extraordinaire.” Members of this award are highly respected in all manners of imperial function and there is no question among the members of the Training Office that Maston Dane has earned the respect of his peers and continues to be a shining beacon of light among our Office.

This recommendation has the full endorsement of both myself and the Training Officer. It is my honor to recommend Maston for the Grand Order of the Emperor.

GN Honsou awarded the Imperial Cross!

RA Tiran Marr

Approved by the Fleet Commander 5 JUN 35 ABY

One of the main reasons why I applied to join the Emperor’s Hammer Training Office as the next Command Attaché was to become part of an institution that is composed of both high-performance and high-caliber individuals, all of whom work diligently and strive to make the Training Office better each and every day. It is an extreme delight as part of my duties to recognize those individuals who not only have gone above and beyond in their duties but have exceeded all measures of expectation time and time again.

If excellence is a measure for a standard, Honsou has made it his personal tradition. Since joining the Training Office in 2022, Honsou has served at nearly every level within the Office to include Education Committee member, Professor of 15 independent courses, Training Office Assistant, and the Command Attaché to the Training Officer. When it comes to exam grading alone, Honsou has graded over 447 Imperial University courses, and six (6) Graduate Thesis works as of the time of this writing. With many more continuing well after this recommendation will be made. Most of those graded exams are not even ones he is directly assigned to, he has voluntarily given up his time to pitch in and take up unassigned exams to help ease the workload for the rest of the Training Office, a majority of which he does without being asked.

Honsou was a key player in the design and development of the old Dark Brotherhood Core exam and was the spearhead for updating and converting much of that knowledge and training into the current-day Secret Order Core exam. A keynote exam of which nearly every member of the Secret Order has taken since DBCORE and SOCORE were implemented. Behind the scenes, Honsou continues to help develop and grow the Training Office, masterminding new and upcoming projects, some of which have yet to be either revealed or implemented. One such example is Honsou has been the lead on the upcoming “master’s degree” program, which will be a successor to Graduate Titles once implemented.

Honsou was the creator of the Starfighter Graduate courses, which set the precedent for all other Graduate-level courses to follow. Honsou was the one who outlined the process for the creation of Thesis works and to this day is the one many within the Office turn to for a thesis topic that is to be given to a student.

Honsou has served as both a mentor and a guide for the rest of the Professors and Assistants. His vision has helped keep the Office moving in the right direction and he consistently establishes high-performance standards for the rest of the Office to emulate though his own example. He does this all on top of his duties as a longtime TIE Corps Squadron Commander, and even now as the Grand Master of the Secret Order. Honsou, even with all of his extra duties and responsibilities outside of the Training Office, continues to perform above anything Fleet Admiral Sylas Pitt or I ask of him on a consistent basis, day after day, month after month. The Training Office would not be what it is today without the efforts and help of Honsou.

Outside of the Training Office, Honsou has been highly involved with, and has been a core member of virtually every other aspect of the club. He has been instrumental in his duties to the TIE Corps as the Commanding Officer of Sin Squadron for well over two years. Serving both as a leader and a guide for the pilots who fly alongside him and wear the honored colors of a Sin pilot. Actions which have recently earned him the coveted rank of General.

Honsou is furthermore the Grand Master of the Secret Order, having been appointed to the role nearly eleven months ago, with service prior to that as a member among the Dark Council since 2023. During that time, Honsou has directly been responsible for many feats and accomplishments the Secret Order has produced to this day. He has been a leading role for the implementation of the Secret Order Path System. Credits of his regarding the Path System include, but are not limited to, Lead Designer, Handbook Lead, Rules Development, Writing and Project Management.

The Imperial Cross is awarded to any member who has “shown exceptional loyalty and dedication to the fleet," with recipients of the Imperial Cross having shown consistent, exceptional and innovative service to their assigned functions. These recipients are highly respected officers in all manners of Imperial functions. There is no doubt in my mind that Honsou has accomplished each of these requirements and then some. He has earned the admiration and respect of his peers within the Training Office and across the Emperor’s Hammer.

It is a great honor of mine to recommend his inclusion into the fraternal order, and his award of the Imperial Cross.

Signed,
CA:TO/RA Tiran Marr/CA-4/TFC Consul

Kieran Yoyo Promoted to Captain

FA John T. Clark

From Typhoon Squadron CMDR COL Jagged Fell III:

Since his last promotion on 2024-07-11, Commander Kieran Yoyo has been a consistent contributor within Typhoon Squadron. In the months since that last promotion he has only not managed to get on the board 4 times. All the rest of the months, it has been a steady stream of activity from the pilot. He helped Typhoon reach our goals during 2025 ReMob, contributed to the fleets performance in both IS7 and IS8, helped Typhoon to our 3rd place finish in the 2025 RtF competition, and helped Typhoon Squadron, and BG3 as a whole, to our latest victories in the recent TCiB competition.

By the numbers since his last promotion he has flown 67 single player missions, earned 6 Legions of Skirmish, and participated in 25 rounds of different competitions.

For all these efforts I am pleased to recommend his promotion to Captain in the TIE Corps of the Emperor's Hammer.

Congratulations, CPT Kieran Yoyo!

CPT Matu Vonnegut has been serving with distinction in our ongoing Spectre Squadron experiment for quite a while now, having stepped up to Flight Leader, boosting our position on the leaderboard in Corps-wide events, and keeping the lines of communication open. I'm proud to present him with the Major rank badge that should've been his a long ways back and we'll be talking about Lieutenant Colonel very soon. Thank you for everything you do and congratulations, MAJ Matu Vonnegut!
