For the past five months, OL"Davy Jonez has led Rho Squadron with vigor and enthusiasm. Since his promotion to the rank of Major last year, Jonez has earned ten merit medals and hundreds of MSE points. With his reliable presence and public visibility, Jonez sets the standard for accessibility and practicality in leadership. With his currently ongoing competition administration, he continues to demonstrate his dedication towards contributing to the growth of his squadron, his Battlegroup, and the Corps at large. For his successes since his previous promotion and his efforts in his leadership role, I recommend that OL"Davy Jonez be promoted to Lieutenant Colonel.

For giving us an extensive insight into his Character through the INPR, SL Qask Merrow of Typhoon Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant.

For the past two-and-a-half years, General Honsou has led Sin Squadron to astounding successes and impressive achievements. From back-to-back podium finishes in Raise the Flag to high tier completion in ReMobs and Battlegroup-level leadership in the Imperial Storm campaigns, Honsou’s contributions to his squadron, Battlegroup, and Corps can never be forgotten. He has chosen to now retire, saying something along the lines of ‘I’m getting old now’ and claiming to be in charge of some Secret organization, the details of which he was not readily forthcoming when pressed.

Replacing him as Sin CMDR is Hector von Ricmore. Hector has studied as Honsou’s SQXO for over a year, learning from the greatest. I look forward to his tenure with excitement and enthusiasm, knowing that he brings the same to the table. Congratulations to both of these excellent Sinners.

MAJ Sid_amos has been a strongly contributing member to Tempest Squadron over the last ten months, where he's earned over 1000 Legions of Skirmish, over 100 Legions of Combat, dozens of singleplayer missions, and served as Tempest's XO. He was one of the top performers during Squadron ReMobilization this year, encouraging our pilots to fly together and doing plenty on his own, showing leadership and positive encouragement.

I had multiple applicants from within the squadron apply, but only one spot available - and after discussions with TIE Corps leadership, I have decided to move forward with Sid_amos as Tempest's Flight Leader for Flight 3.

From Sin Squadron CMDR GN Honsou:

Since his promotion to Captain, Jayden Halcorr has served in both Epsilon & Sin Squadron as SQXO, has picked up ten merit medals, and even had time for a year of R&R on the FRG Phoenix, before returning to active duty in Sin Squadron.

Jayden is often present in voice communications and is a truly uplifting individual, with his delightful quips and one-liners. Which are always guaranteed to draw laughter and camaraderie, remembered for years after the event.

For his dedication and performance, I am proud to recommend Jayden Halcorr be promoted to the rank of Major and be afforded all rights, privileges, and responsibilities entailed.

The Herald's Office is now accepting submissions for Dark Voice #4!

As always, submissions may include any previously submitted art, fiction, or media that could be published within an newsletter that has not previously been featured in an issue of the Dark Voice. New creations may be included as well, but this is not a requirement!

Submissions should be sent directly to the Herald, via email (locke.f.setzer@gmail.com), Discord (LockeSetzer) or the #herald-inbox channel on the Discord server.

Submissions will be open from now through August 16th, 2026. A Letter of Achievement will be awarded to each member whose submission is accepted for inclusion in the next issue of the Dark Voice.

His recent spate of 4 merit medals back to back, with a 5th to follow soon, ensure he's met all criteria for elevation - his active participation in competitions, now moving to running his own, have proven beyond doubt his readiness for promotion to Lieutenant Colonel.
