Yes, a great plot, borrowed from truce at bakura & the NJO books.However, capships with starfighter orders, and a few other oversites in the mission design detracted from it.
Lot of fighters, a number of capital ships.. kinda neat, cept for a few bugs that let it down: Some Fighters out 28+ klicks away, Gun platforms & freighters attack nav bouy etc.
typical Sauron work, Your in a T/A (at best), and there's enough A-W's with adv. Missiles to go around... As for the storyline, see IQ's review, about that..
Not a particularly good battle.. one mission has you trying to protect a carrack from two FRG's with [starfighter] attack orders, another a Shuttle from 3x2 Y-wings with no intercept distance, yet another a CRL @ 50% sheilds from a range of attackers including 3x3 CRV's with attack orders.. Basically, it bites and make you wonder what the creator was on at the time, there are much better battles around.
4.5 really. this battle is nice, works well and has briefings. loses 0.5 because its rather easy, and there are a few bugs with the briefing maps/questions (nothing that crash's TIE though)
4.5 really.. the only thing holding it back is a) no briefing map (though the questions are there and well done) b) a couple of missions rely on "kill 4 A-W's before they wack the TRN" for difficulty.. overall, nicely done and a well put together battle
functional.. nice, but lasers CRS's to death gets old after a while :( and this involves several mission that do that. Try to have some time free when you fly this one
quite fun, a bit on the easy side in places.. and theres a jammin/Rein mix-up with the last mission. Overall its fun to play, but not super challenging (on harder dificulty levels)
Not the greatest batttle, some variation in the missions makes things good. Dificulty levels poorly implemented, goals and trigers in missions unlear. 1 for not so good, but functional working + 1 for the storyline/variation in missions
This battle only rates a 2 because its functional. Other than that it bite big time. The story line sucks, most interesting part is "what will be the reinforcements this time". The cap ships have starfighter orders (and attack craft friendly to them). It relys on waves of craft rather than dificulty.. mission 3 is a tedious "never ending flight group" mission.. and its not alone. Personally i was glad to be done with it, unless you like 5 missions of "wipe the starfighters, then the cap ships", avoid. Mission 2 also has player on invulnerable.
