First time I ever flew an assassination mission, and it shows the level of care put into it. Waiting for the right opportune moment to strike is one way to leave an impression while avoiding patrols of enemy craft for it. A very good mission as a whole, and a hell of a job well done for it!
It's alright, just a decent high score chaser for those who enjoy blasting a lotta stuff out of space. Nothing too special, but you can't go wrong with some of this action!
Good amount of action all around, blasting stuff with a TIE Interceptor never gets old with it. Not much to say other than having a really good time killing rebels left and right with this. Briefings also helped set the mood for what was to come, and the variety of rebel craft to engage was also a nice change of pace.
For a training program it is a good dogfighting simulator, I would say. It's alright overall. With good energy management and dogfighting you can beat this mission on Hard.
An interesting combat simulation. Mind my words as i'm a first timer at TIE Fighter classic, so my opinion might not have much weight, but I did enjoy the myriad of objectives to do, and to outsmart Rebel craft in a TIE Fighter for sure.
I mean it's alright as a simple dogfighting mission, you can have a lot of fun just blowing entire squadrons up, but the enemies seem to barely put up a fight even on Hard.
Honestly this is a good first impression of what the unit can build for a custom mission. I have really gotten invested in this story against Rogue Squadron, feeling like I was their counterpart. This mission pack never stops, pitting you against the odds as you fly against large formations of X, Y, A, and B wings all together. My only criticism is the enormous difficulty on hard mode, but it is a matter of just getting used to the whole issue. I personally am looking forward to do more of these mission packs as soon as I'm able to.
