Its truly hard for me to judge this battle independently as it does truly belong in a series with battle 77. Still, I should try to judge it on its own merits and this one just isn’t quite as good. Its still well written like its predecessor and has some fun missions for sure, but those difficulty hops were a bit hard to swallow. On the plus side, its bonus goals are either non-existent or easier to figure out, which is an improvement over the first battle in this series. Those last two missions are what keep me from giving this one a 5 however. If mission 4 wasn’t so easy then so hard all at the same time due to those new fighters with Adv. Concussion missiles and if the last mission wasn’t so easy that I could finish it in 5 minutes this battle would have walked away with a 5. Still, I recommend this battle wholeheartedly especially if you have already played battle 77. You owe yourself the pleasure of finishing off the series that was so well written. I give it a 4.40 (Rounded down to a 4 for purposes of the EH review scale)

Well, this was an excellent battle. It is filled with a good plot, fun officer briefings, craft variety in both opponents and piloted craft, and it is challenging without being frustrating. Some of the bonus goals are confusing to figure out or are hard to complete but that really doesn’t detract from the battle too much. It is an excellent overall battle. I give it a4.85 (Rounded up to a 5 for purposes of the EH review scale).

This truly is a fantastic battle. It’s fun, fairly easy, interesting, and well written. There are the problems with the briefings being uninteresting and short along with not having a mission critical ATR being mission critical which can cause some problems in mission 4, it is great. It might be a little short and might be a little easy, but I recommend this battle to everyone. I had a great time flying it.I give it a 4.75(Rounded up to a 5 for purposes of the EH review scale)

Well, this is a pretty fun battle that can be finished quickly. The first 3 missions are easy and short, the 4th mission is fun, and the 5th almost ruins it between the bug that keeps the Reserves that show up attacking the Platform, the bug that has the TRNs boarding the containers rather than capturing them, keeping the secondary goals from being completed, and the rather uninspired naming and use of wings. Still it’s a fun battle that I recommend to anyone who can overlook that last mission. I give it a 3.80 (Round up to a 4 for purposes of the EH review scale)(Note: My full review is more detailed. I'd be happy to mail you a copy if you'd like one, but here without the line breaks it'd would look sloppy :) )

This is a good overall battle. It’s interesting, fun, exciting, and challenging without being too frustrating, despite some of the annoyances with the bonus goals and with mission 3. It’s got a nice variety of craft to fly, craft to kill, and types of missions to complete. I’m going to recommend this to people who have flown most of the highest rated battles and are looking for a fun battle that was created back near the beginning of TIE Fighter editing. It’s a good battle and you should enjoy it. I give it a 3.85 (Rounded up to a 4 for purposes of the EH review scale)(Note: My full review is more detailed. If you'd like a copy I'd be happy to e-mail it to you, but without the line breaks here it wouldn't look sloppy posted :) )

I found myself having a lot of fun with this battle. It was filled with lots of different things to blow up along with the fact that you get to mess around with Star Tours. I think that idea makes a pretty good plotline even though the plot itself was a bit lackluster. This mission is a bit easy and as a result, serious pilots might want to look elsewhere for a challenge. Also, those of you put off by the Missile Boat would do well to avoid the battle. But for the rest of us this battle is great for blowing off some steam after a hard day. The devastating power of the Missile Boat with a double load of warheads is a great way to wind down the day. I give it a 4.45 (Rounded down to a 4 for purposes of the EH review scale)(Note: My full review is much more detailed. If you'd like a copy, I'd be happy to e-mail you one, but without line breaks it looks sloppy here :) )

This battle rivals my old favorite, Mirror Universe, for holding my interest and overall excellent design. I would wholeheartedly recommend this battle to anyone who has a bit of time on their hands. You won’t be disappointed. I give it a 4.9 (rounded up to a 5 for the purposes of the EH review scale)(Note: My full review is more detailed. If you'd like a copy, I'd be happy to e-mail it to you. However, here without the line breaks it just looks sloppy :) )

This battle could have scored an entire point higher if it weren’t for that last mission. Basically it falls into that modern rut where is seems that every game has its obligatory stealth mission. It really doesn’t work here and I would recommend the battle only if you want to put up with an hour of boredom at the end of the battle. It’s an interesting mission other wise. The other, and far less minor things, which hurt its score, are the bugs in mission 2 and the repetitive nature of the repeat wings of fighters. I give it a 3.15 (rounded down to a 3 for the purposes of the EH review scale)(Note: My full review is much more detailed. If you'd like it I'd be happy to e-mail it to you, but here without the line breaks it looks sloppy :) )

This battle almost scored a 5. Up until the 4th mission it was a pretty darn good battle. Not too hard, not too easy, it was a well balanced machine. The 4th mission nuked that. It ruined the battle and the following missions were rather lackluster and couldn’t remove the bad taste in my mouth. Too bad, it could have been much better. I give it a 3.45 (rounded down to a 3 for the purposes of the EH review scale)(Note: My full review is much more detailed. If you'd like a copy of it, I'd be happy to e-mail it to you. Without line breaks here though it gets rather sloppy looking :) )

Although rivaled, it hasn’t been dethroned yet. This is still my favorite of all the EH missions I’ve played, and of all TIE Fighter missions I’ve played. I love it and I couldn’t possibly recommend it more. If you only play one EH missions, and by all means play more if you can, play this one. I can’t see how you could go wrong. I give this battle a 4.95 (rounded up to a 5 for the purposes of the EH review scale)(Note: My full review is more detiled. This battle is short, fairly easy, and relatively entertaining. If you are looking for a quick battle to fly that is loaded with star fighters to kill and won’t take up too much of your time, this is the battle for you. I give it a 2.7 (Rounded to a 3 for the purposes of the EH review scale) (Note: When I wrote this review in word it was a lot more detailed. If anyone would like the full review I'll be happy to send it to you in e-mail. Without line breaks here, however it looks sloppy :) )
