Annals of House Palpatine

In the Annals of House Palpatine are many a tale about many a member… their trials, their tribulations… all in the name of greater power… For many, the construction of the lightsaber proves to be a daunting task. For some, acquiring the pieces necessary proves to be an enormous struggle. For others, it is the act of assembling it, once and for all, that proves to be more than they had ever imagined. And then there are those who have passed their trials, and seek to aid others… or discourage those who they believe to be unworthy… Success or failure… victory or defeat… all tales are stored here, in the Annals of House Palpatine… Arts competition! Submit a creative work (fiction is likely the norm, but other creative works will be accepted) intended to fulfill your next creative work requirement. This is intended to help those who have not yet completed the creative work requirements for future ranks. If you have yet to achieve the rank of Stalker (and do not have a previously submitted creative work), this should be about finding the parts you need to assemble a lightsaber. If you have achieved the rank of Stalker (or have already submitted a creative work about finding your lightsaber pieces), this should be about assembling your lightsaber. For those who already hold the blade – you are welcome to compete as well! For you, I ask that you submit a piece about your efforts to help (or hinder) other members of House Palpatine in their respective quests. The choice is yours! You're more than welcome to collaborate with each other or bounce ideas off one another, but the submitted work must ultimately be your own. Runs from May 1st – May 31st (EH Time) Submissions should be sent directly to me (e-mail at locke.f.setzer@gmail.com or through Discord) One submission per member (you may replace an existing submission with another, if desired, but you must tell me which to use; otherwise, I'll use the last submitted) Fiction entries are limited to a word count between 1000 - 6000 words. No AI derived creations for fiction/art/music/etc. Non-fiction entries (art being the most common, but don’t let me tell you what to do! Would love a music entry...) will be accepted, but I may need further consultation with the Herald to determine if it can be accepted for fulfilling your creative work requirement. Regardless, it will be accepted as an entry in this competition.

SWTOR Conquest 2: The search for more Conquest, Season 4

Pilots within the official organizational guilds on the Star Forge server (“Emperor’s Hammer” for the Sith Empire and “Infiltrator Wing” for the Republic) will compete against each other for placement awards while they aide the organization to meet its in-game goals. Criteria: Weekly Placements: Weekly placement awards will be given, per faction, and will be determined by the sum of all conquest points earned by a pilot’s legacy (all characters a pilot has on the server, within the official guilds), calculated from the guild roster screen. Screenshots of the pilot totals will be taken between 10am-12pm GMT on Tuesday. Due to scheduling conflicts, points earned between 10am and 11am GMT on Tuesday may not be represented on the official screenshots. Pilots earning conquest points between 10am-11am GMT on Tuesday will need to submit a screenshot containing all points earned by a pilot’s legacy to eh.gytheran@gmail.com or in DMs to Gytheran on Discord for consideration. NOTE: It is a good habit to take a screenshot of your conquest totals each week as a back-up in the off chance a catastrophic event occurs, and official screenshots cannot be acquired. The conquest totals can be accessed by all members. While in game, press “G,” select the “Roster” tab, set one of the two right-most columns’ drop-down menus to “Conquest Points,” and sort by “Legacy.” Each week, the top three pilots in each of the two guilds will be awarded Iron Stars and given “placement points” used in the calculation of monthly and final competition awards. Any pilot reaching 100,000 conquest points in either or both SWTOR guilds will also be awarded an Operational Readiness Award (ORA). The ORA can be granted once per faction, per week, for a maximum of two ORAs per week. Placement points are ONLY given 1 time per faction, per week and will be determined by a Pilot’s highest placement within that faction. Placement points for pilots earning 100,000 conquest points are only granted if that is their highest award for that faction. Weekly Awards: Imperial Guild: 1st Place: IS-SW and 12 Placement Points 2nd Place: IS-BW and 11 Placement Points 3rd Place: IS-CW and 10 Placement Points 4th Place: 9 placement Points 100,000 Conquest Points: Any pilot whose legacy earns over 100,000 conquest points for the Imperial guild, “Emperor’s Hammer” will be awarded 1 ORA and 8 Placement Points. Republic Guild: 1st Place: IS-SW and 12 Placement Points 2nd Place: IS-BW and 11 Placement Points 3rd Place: IS-CW and 10 Placement Points 4th Place: 9 placement Points 100,000 Conquest Points: Any pilot whose legacy earns over 100,000 conquest points for the Republic guild, “Infiltrator Wing” will be awarded 1 ORA and 8 Placement Points. NOTE: Pilots earning over 100,000 conquest points for both the Imperial and Republic guilds will be awarded 2 ORAs. Example: “Pilot A” earned 1.2mil conquest and a 1st place finish for the Imperial guild, but did not place for the Republic guild, managing to earn 150,000 conquest points. “Pilot A” would be awarded one IS-SW, 2 ORAs, and given 20 “Placement Points” (12pts for placing 1st for the Empire and 8pts for reaching 100k conquest for the Republic). Monthly Placements: There will be four monthly placements calculated by the sum of “placement points” earned by pilots from each of the two SWTOR guilds each conquest week during a given month and awarded a single set of awards. Again, monthly awards only occur once per month and are calculated by placement points earned in both faction guilds. The conquest dates calculated for the four monthly placements are as follows: May: 7, 14, 21, 28 June: 4, 11, 18, 25 July: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 August: 6, 13, 20, 27 Awards: The top four pilots, by total placement points each month will be awarded Iron Stars w/ Wings. 1st Place: IS-GW 2nd Place: IS-SW 3rd Place: IS-BW 4th Place: IS-CW Ties: In the event there is more than one pilot with the same number of placement points, monthly placement will be determined by the total number of conquest points earned during that placement period. Overall Placements: At the end of the 17 weeks, concluding 11:00am GMT August 27, 2024, all placement points earned by members of both guilds will be tallied and the top pilots will be ranked and given the following awards: 1st Place: IS-PW & Title: “Legendary Conquest: Season 4 Champion of Star Wars: The Old Republic” 2nd Place: IS-GW 3rd Place: IS-SW 4th Place: IS-BW 5th Place: IS-CW Ties: In the event there is more than one pilot with the same number of placement points, the final competition placement will be determined by the total number of conquest points earned throughout the entire competition period.

Maston's Annual May the Fourth Collectable Cavalcade: Episode 2

Participants submit a photograph of a single item, or group of items fitting a theme (ie costplay costume, lego sets, full collection of a series etc) that falls under the idea of a Star Wars collectible item or paraphernalia to the Discord channel #mastons-collectible-cavalcade. The photo must include a card with the submitter’s name and date; this text needs to be part of the original image and not added to the image after being taken to ensure authenticity. Each submission can also have a description with it, so people can fully understand the item. The pictures will be collected and voted on by the entire TIE Corps. Star Wars collectible and paraphernalia is defined: a physical object that references, is from, or mimics something from the Star Wars franchise. This definition allows things like a cohesive set, connected LEGO set, or a costume or cosplay, as these things directly relate to each other and are comprised of a set of sub-pieces.
