(It felt like the feed on the Galactic Holonet had exponentially increased since he had taken the new job. Perhaps it was because the fleet was now out of the worst part of the Chaos region, and the Doomsday's sensor arrays now had more room to breathe than the cluttered and unpredictable Unknown Region. Or perhaps it was also because he was listening a little more attentively to the Net than before.

He was pacing around his office, datapad in hand showing his inbox of messages. His dress uniform was still on, left over from some meeting he had had earlier that morning. He could barely even remember the contents of the meeting - his brain felt so cloudy from trying to categorize and characterize all of the reports he was reading. Sitting down in his chair with a huff, he keyed open his datapad.

It amused him that he already was writing another report. It was clear that infrequent newsletters might not be the solution for the office, with the sheer quantity of information from his informant network, the Holonet, and so much more. Swiping away tabs with articles and dispatches from his networks, he opened up a blank page and began to type out his report to the Emperor's Hammer.)

Since my last report, a ton has been announced, released, and teased. The Holonet channels have been inundated with news articles, and I can only hope that I've caught all of the important ones! Star Wars: Tales of the Empire released all six of its episodes this morning! Featuring dual storylines, following independently both Morgan Elsbeth and Barriss Offee, this show offers a look into the history of the inner workings of the Empire and highlights appearances and more information about these already-fantastic characters. In a highly-anticipated release, veteran Star Wars author John Jackson Miller has released his newest novel! Below is the description.

In the year before The Phantom Menace, Yoda, Mace Windu, and the entire Jedi Council confront a galaxy on the brink of change. The Jedi have always traveled the stars, defending peace and justice across the galaxy. But, the galaxy is changing, and along with it, the Jedi Order. More and more, the Order finds itself focused on the future of the Republic, secluded on Coruscant, where the twelve members of the Jedi Council weigh crises on a galactic scale.

As yet another Jedi Outpost leftover from the Republic’s golden age is set to be decommissioned on the planet Kwenn, Qui-Gon Jinn challenges the Council about the increasing isolation of the Order. Mace Windu suggests a bold response: all twelve Jedi Masters will embark on a goodwill mission to help the planet, and remind the people of the galaxy that the Jedi remain as stalwart and present as they have been across the ages.

But the arrival of the Jedi leadership is not seen by all as a cause for celebration. Warring pirate factions have infested the sector in the increasing absence of the Jedi. To maintain their dominance, the pirates unite, intent on assassinating the Council. And they are willing to destroy countless innocent lives to secure their power. Cut off from Coruscant, the Jedi Masters must reckon with an unwelcome truth: that while no one thinks more about the future than the Jedi Council, nobody needs their help more than those living in the present.

Star Wars: The Acolyte has received an official release date and two trailers since the previous report! Set to be dropped beginning on June 4th, the show promises to be a gorgeous and unique story of the High Republic Jedi Order and the lurking sinister threats in the galaxy. Star Wars: Hunters, while already released in several regions, will be fully released on June 4th, the same day that Acolyte is to be dropped. A mobile game developed by Zynga and being released for Switch, iOS, and Android, it is a free-to-play PvP combat game, where the player selects a Hunter and fights in several themed arenas on Vespaara. You can pre-register for the game now to receive exclusive rewards when the game releases here!

Star Wars: Outlaws has received an official story trailer (which you can view here) and an official release date of August 30th! Taking place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the show will feature a duo and their myriad of less-than-legal adventures throughout the galaxy, evading the Empire and vengeful criminals.

Despite slight delays, Kyber V2 will be released soon! A popular mod client that allows for private EA Battlefront II games, custom game setup and mods, and much more, this updated and upgraded version of Kyber will bring a new custom UI, increased customization, and much more. A port of the popular mobile game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is making its way to Windows soon! The closed beta has already begun, and the full release is expected to be soon! For more information, check out this link here! 

Currently planned for a 2024 release date, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew has been officially described as "the story of four kids who find themselves lost in the vastness of the galaxy trying to find their way home." Set after the events of Return of the Jedi, the show will feature Jude Law and be directed by John Watts and Christopher Ford.

This academic-style book about the history of the Galactic Empire will become available on July 9, but can be pre-ordered on Amazon here already. It will focus on detailing the often-overlooked functions and operations of the Empire, as well as sweeping through its grand history and accomplishments. Alongside these above, there are many other rumored and in progress releases! The Recon Office will keep you up to date as those approach and gain validity, but for now, read about those projects in this article from IGN.

The TIE Corps is currently underway with its sixth annual Squadron (Re)Mobilization competition. This sees each squadron assigned tasks to complete within the month, and rewards based on how many tiers are met! This is a fantastic opportunity to advertise for the Corps, as increased activity on comms and game simulations will provide a glimpse for new recruits into the glory of the Emperor's Hammer!

A reboot of a competition from last year begins today! Hosted by Maston Dane, who I'm proud to call a member of the Recon Office, this corps-wide event has participants submit their most favorite Star Wars collectibles, trinkets, and toys. We have welcomed LCM Jai Thorne to the Recon Office since my last report! I congratulate him on his new position and accomplishments so far, and look forward to facilitating and witnessing his assuredly illustrious future in the Office.
