Boring missions that are all essentially just turkey shoots of one variety or another. The Sentinel got old fast, as it has a very bad laser capacitor. Missions were also quite buggy. Mission 3 is also quite poorly balanced as you are facing 12 squadrons of fighters with just 1 of your own, and many of the enemy fighters have advanced missiles.

I hate that someone recommended this to me. Such a frustrating battle. Like if the second to last mission isn't enough to get your blood boiling by having to kill 75 fighters, SHFIT A SHIFT A SHIFT A till your buttons break, the final mission will have you throwing your computer out the window. Kill like 15 capital ships with your squadron. No problem right? Except all my wingmen blow their load immediately and then get picked off. This is by far the worst XvT experience I've had. Frustrating as all hell man. Not worth anyone's time.

So, you walk into the Emperor's Hammer Lasers and Warheads factory. -------------- Mission Maker: 'How can I help you pilot?' ---------------------------------------------------- Pilot: 'I'd like some lasers and warheads'. ---------------------------------------------------- MM: 'Yes' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pilot: Hmm ok and I'd also like things to shoot at' ----------------------------------------------- MM: 'Yes' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pilot: 'Also, also, please throw some of those Patrol Vehicles we all hate so much' ------ MM: 'Yes'. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pilot: 'Oh and some capital ships!' -------------------------------------------------------------- MM: 'Yes'. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pilot: Excellent, do you happen to have any fighters as well?' --------------------------------- MM: 'Yes' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pilot: 'How much would that be?' -------------------------------------------------------------- MM: 'Yes' ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MM: 'Before you go, I just have one favour to ask. Be sure to have your doctor examine you after you are done with this one.

Plotline was promising and also the idea of flying the deeds of the now-defunct glorious elite squadron of the Avengers. But flying the V38 TIE Sentinel, over and over again, in the end was mistake, in my opinion. The same missions repeat themselves almost identically. The fact it's featuring a slick and special fighter lifts the score a bit, but overall a disappointment. Fly it for the TIE Sentinel. That's all you get.

No questions asked, absolutely the best battle ever released :P I may be biased, but hey, it was still pretty fun. I like blowing crap up - and this did it in spades. Some missions say me playing it loose and easy with the equipment. I may have cost the EH 9 figures or so. Oops.

Really probably a 3.5, but as I have a co-starring role and it has the best squadron in EH history in it... gotta give it a 5.
