Medal Board Update
FA Kawolski

The TIE Corps membership numbers have reached beyond the 700 mark!!!
You can directly download the program here: http://www.picknowl.com.au/homepages/troyd/DLAlliED.htm
The bug with the profile administration program that prevented Netscape users from viewing the page has been fixed.
File: Multi-Crew Option (5.2 kb)All you have to do is copy the shiplist.txt from this zip to your XWA directory and boom there you have it. There will be 2 player slots, the blue one for the pilot and green one for the gunner. the YT-1300, YT-2000 and the Falcon will all have Gunner postions in multiplayer. HOWEVER ALL players must have the modified shiplist.txt for it to work, otherwise XWA tends to get evil.
To retrieve your password, go to the Lost Password page and enter your PIN or e-mail address.
The grossly outdated Flight Office site has been taken down temporarily for some major updates. The page will be back online at the same location in the near future.
The membership counter on the news page has been automated to provide an accurate count at all times.
The new rosters should be online by Thursday evening, automating the membership counter on this News Page. The Pilot Profile features, however, may not be online until later this weekend, depending how quickly the project progresses.
Congratulations to General Brian and Fleet Admiral Kawolski (even though the name was spelled wrong on the results page) for earning the Legion of Combat by winning a round in the tournament!
Today we finished adding the main TC body, (reserves, all wings) into the new database...the Command Officers and Command Attachés are also in there with the Support Staff coming in at the end. Next comes the Platform Daedalus Roster...
Just a quick update on the new online rosters: We're a third of the way there already!
Though it seems that many pilots in the TIE Corps have been resigning lately (mainly due to real life obligations, the final exam period, etc.), the organization continues to grow!
With the new changes, the old EH Reserve Corps, which was holding 168 members, has been reduced to 30 members in the TIE Corps Reserves.
The TIE Corps Reserves roster will be made available online once the Online Rosters operational.
The rosters are expected to come back online within the next few days.
Sign up and register soon! The tournament is this Sunday!
The patch is available at: http://www.lucasarts.com/products/alliance/xwa_update.htm
The old and the patched versions are not compatible with each other. The patch also fixes the Shield/Beam Weapon exploit.
The game platform is X-Wing Alliance. It will be held on Sunday, May 16th at 11:30 AM PT (19:30 GMT) in the Tournament Room.
If you're interested, find a fellow wingman to fly with for the tournament and sign up!
Don't forget to use your EH_Zone names when attending the tournament, follow the rules the tournament host and the IGZ have laid out, and have fun! Full deatils at: http://fly.to/Aelf
Note: This is NOT an EH or EH-exclusive sponsored event; anyone can participate! LoCs, however, will be awarded to winners!
General Caddo, Wing Commander of Wing IV, has announced his upcoming retirement once a few lose ends have been tied up on the Sovereign. Rear Admiral Tron, Commodore of the SSD Avenger, has also decided to step down and retire.
Applications for the Wing IV Wing Commander position are being accepted by Fleet Admiral Kramer and applications for the SSD Avenger Commodore position are being accepted by Fleet Admiral Kawolski
The TIE Corps Message Board is currently offline. Hopefully, service will be restored soon as the board host has been contacted about the problem.
Though one of their beta testers is our very own Commander Invader, he's bound by a non-disclosure agreement so don't bother him with questions and don't ask for his beta copy either.
The interface (from what I gathered from the screenshots posted) isn't as attractive as that of XvTED, but it looks similar to TFW and appears easy to use. One of the most unique features that will be on this new editor will be the ability for people to modify and edit a mission cooperatively with an Internet connection!
Public release of a beta version may be as soon as within the next two weeks.
In second place was Captain Callista of Typhoon Squadron.
Congratulations to both and all who participated! The list of pilots who flew in the competition and their scores can be found here.
He will be retaining the current COMM staff (the CA:COMM and COMMA) and may have a new office posted sometime in the next week or so. Welcome him aboard! He's the second person to hold the Communications Officer position and will be regulating the #Emperor's_Hammer IRC Channel on Undernet.
