Everyone please remember the Jedi Convention, taking place in Cologne, Germany, on Easter next year. We already have about 20 EHers who will come to represent the EH there, but everyone else of those who cannot make it are asked to design graphics and think about the text we're going to print on the flyers we'll hand out. It's still some time to go, but the sooner we've got our flyers done, the better. Awards for the best graphics and texts will be given out as well.
It has previews of upcoming SW games, submissions from members, a program for Access that manages competitions, and loads of funny IRC conversations!
Requirements for applying for the ROA position:

Thanks to Lieutenant Mark Metallic for the news info!
If you need the craft to take a long time for the purpose of mission difficulty, increase the length of boarding time, not the distance for the boarding craft to reach its target.
Deadline is October 1st and laserless scoring is, of course, in effect. Submissions later than October 3rd won't be accepted. The Quarter Finals will start at October 08th! Good luck to all!
Final results for CR#12 will be announced next Sunday. Sorry for the delay... ;)
The following film "When Senators Attack IV" was made from one such mental patient who managed to get to steal some A/V equipment.
You can view the film here: http://theforce.net/theater/animation/wsa4/index.shtml
The video is 12mb big and can be seen at: http://www.theforce.net/theater/musicvideos/wookie/index.shtml
It appears that the primary international link that the ImperialAcademy.org domain uses has gone down. I'll be checking it out today to see what the story is and it will hopefully be online again soon.

The #TIECorps IRC bot SureFire mysteriously went offline Friday afternoon. I will have to check with my university on Monday afternoon about what happened to the bot. In the meantime, there's another bot active in the channel to hold his nick, but this bot will not respond to commands.
The bug that blocked the Battle Submission Form from certain officers that should be allowed access to it has been fixed.
September 15th is the official opening day of the Border Wars between Wing II and the RS Retribution fleet. The competition will last two months, and pilots will fly four original, customized missions. Further bulletins as events unfold. Glory to the Empire!
7.1 comes with many fixes. Here are the important ones:
I would just like to inform all personnel that, with the permission of COO/AD Zsinj and COOA/GN Shups, I will now be the full time host of the two weekly XWA Comps, Kampfergemetzel and Zone Sunday. Both are held in the XWA Melees and Skirmishes Room on the Zone. I had noticed recently that the participation level of these two comps has
dropped a bit, meaning that some weeks it is strong and other weeks it is non-exsistant. I believe this to be due to the fact that there currently is no consistant full time hosting. I hope to see all of the old regulars come back and help bring these two comps back around. The exact dates, times and places for these comps, as well as all other multiplayer competitions can be found on the Competiton Calendar.
With the resignation of AD Theodore, the position of TIE Corps Battlegroup Commander is now open. I am currently accepting applications for this position. A succesful applicant will have:
You may include up to 5 recommendations in your application, but no more. I would also like to hear your ideas on where you see the BattleGroups heading in the future. Please get these applications in ASAP, as I would like to make an appointment next week. Please forward all aplications to myself, AD Sarriss AND AD Theo.
XVT WoW XXVII: 9-15 2pm thru 9-22 5am

In case you haven't had the opportunity to meet Admiral Striker, he has been my Command Attaché during the entire time I served in this position and for part of the time under the previous Tactical Officer. He was the creator and coordinator for the very successful Project Phoenix. He's also the Infiltrator Wing's Tactical Officer, author of several battles and of an upcoming IWATS course for XWA mission designing, and he's quite knowledgeable in all aspects of the Tactical Office. He designed the system to help him and myself catch cheaters using the laserless system, so you rogue dishonest pilots out there better think twice before touching a pilot editor because he's better at catching cheaters than I am! He's extremely well-qualified for the position and I'm sure he will be an excellent Tactical Officer!
On a related topic, my second Command Attaché, Vice Admiral Slade, also resigned from his position.
It has been great serving as your TAC and I wish the very best to Admiral Striker and to the very talented members of the Tactical Staff who fix and play new battles every week so we could deliver new missions with as few bugs and problems as possible!
The film takes place 2000 years before the Battle of Yavin. This is one to look forward to! You can view the 10mb trailer at: http://www.theforce.net/theater/comingsoon/faith/index.shtml
As written by Fleet Admiral Rapier:
As I said in my initial email about my emergency leave, if I felt that it was going to go on for too long I would resign my post as Security Officer... That time has come. For a Year and 10 months now I have been the Security Officer of the EH. And now, due to unforeseen and unavoidable real life problems I must resign that position. I do wish to stay on the roster in the reserves but I can no longer fulfill the duties of the Security Officer since my Internet time has been cut to almost nothing and I haven't even seen a copy of mIRC in a month. I'm sorry to all of you who counted on me to always be there but for a while longer I won't be. I will be back but I have no idea when.Believe me I would never step down from my post if it were not for the gravest of problems because I love this club and have done everything in my power to make it a better place for all. I really hate saying see ya later at this point but I have too.
Since I am a CS officer in good standing at the time of my resignation I would like to see AD Nightflyer elevated from SEC/CA:SO to the position of SO which he has so excellently been filling for the last month during my absence. I would also like to see him elevated to the rank of Fleet Admiral and awarded the GoE for his excellent work both as my assistant and as the Security Enforcement commissioner during the last 9 months. His dedication and loyalty to the empire should be an example to all officers.
Thank you all for your time and for a wonderful 3 years as an active EH member.
The roster isn't done, so SovMed Docs and Nurses PLEASE forward your info to my NEW mail address at streng@mail.com. See you in the bacta!
And the congratulations go to.....the Imperial Star Destroyer Colossus
This event also marks a milestone as the first time in the history of the Emperor's Hammer (that I know of anyway) the FC's Own was not awarded to the current flagship of the Emperor's Hammer.
I'm sorry but I am unable to attend the comp to host this weekend. My school has a special service on this Saturday. It will resume as normal next weekend.
Currently there are 2 downloads the first on is just the program, if you have used the first version or other Visual basic programs before download this file. It is only 89k and can be found here http://atr.ehnet.org/ATRv2_MIN.zip
The second download is 2.4 megs, it includes an install program that will put all the files you need to run the program into your Hard Drive. Download it if you have not run the First program or and Visual Basic programs. You can download it here http://atr.ehnet.org/ATRv2_Full.zip [which doesn't work for me and gives weird illegible installation errors - HA Kawolski].
I am aware of some bugs that are still to be worked out in later versions. If have any comments, questions or suggestion please email at brakka@stardestroyer.org.
