Lady Janta La'an, Countess of Thor, has stepped down from her position as the Directorate's Minister of Education. La'an, during her tenure as the head of the Directorate Governor's Academy, has served faithfully under two Grand Moffs and has overseen the largest expansion of the DGA since its inception. I know I speak for the entire Ministry Council when I say that, La'an, we are thankful.
For her long-term service to the Directorate, I have seen fit to award La'an the Cross of Glory, a medal reserved for those that have brought "great glory to the Directorate." I believe that La'an fits that description well.

With La'an's departure as Minister of Education (see the last news post), the position is now open for applications. I encourage anyone at all to join - no command experience in the Directorate is necessary. All I need to know is your office, where its located and if you want anything special graphically within. Note that these userbars are normally 350x20 pixels in size.
