Yes, yes. I am looking for an assistant to help me with IWATs (maybe two). Before you think I am getting greedy, I am not. I have a lot of work for IWATS that will take dedication of at least one other. I need someone who can edit/update the content of the courses but also has HTML/CSS experience.

There is a lack of cohesiveness in some of the IWATS courses so I need someone who can read through them and fix grammar etc but also fix any points where it overlaps and contradicts other courses. I will also be doing this, I just need help.

Now, where I get the idea of possibly having TWO assistants is thus.
If the best candidate for the main part of the job (content editing) is not web savvy (its ok, really) someone will be needed to do the changes to the HTML of the courses. I will still handle the tests. If I cannot find someone suitable I will still do it but it will take longer.

This is an open application, I will close applications when I feel i have found a suitable candidate(s) for the position(s).

This role is in addition to your normal duties in the TC and will not require transfer.

I have awarded the following to these members for their outstanding work thus far:

COL Rebelkiller: Argyle Fist (AF)
Since his appointment, COL Rebelkiller has been doing an excellent job getting the Orion Detachment organized, and CSMA exams repaired so that they are available to the general membership. His work is far from done but to this point has been excellent, thus I am awarding him the Argyle Fist (AF).

SSG Xantros: Cross of Obedience (CoO)
Since volunteering to take the position of Detachment Leader, SSG Xantros has done an excellent job staying in contact with his unit and providing them with activities through encouraging run-on posts. Keep up the good work!

LCP Sirius Clay: Detachment Medal (DM)
LCP Sirius Clay has been off to an impressive start as Fire Team Leader. In addition to doing an excellent job leading his troops, he has been working hard behind the scenes on projects that will benefit the Hammer\'s Fist as a whole. Well done, and keep it up!

Well done to the three of you! As we continue to rebuild the future, I can assure you that those of you working hard to help out will not go unrewarded!

Well, with no competitions at all, perhaps it's time to have some fun. This is Head Master's Trivia #1. The objective of the game is simple: 15 questions desire 15 answers. Whoever gets most right wins. In case of a tie, submission time decides.

The prizepool is wealthy: a Cr-D for whoever wins, and the best scoring member of the other hetearia each get a Cr-A. DC members can participate as well, and if one of them wins the Cr-D, there will be 4 Cr-As.

Today, I begin making preparations for publication of a new version of the Dark Legionnaire, the Hammers Fist newsletter. I am working on a format right now and when I get that finished, I will begin asking for articles and submissions. With that being said, the newsletter will be in charactor and all submissions will be as such. My dream is to use it to build a history and to keep track of events as hopefully, all events will affect where we go from here.

If you want to have your work become a part of the permanent history of the Hammers Fist, this will be you chance. Stay tuned for more details as I complete them.

Operation: Phoenix

This Operation is designed to be sort of an “introductory” Hammer’s Fist-wide activity that focuses on our rebuilding efforts. The majority of the activities covered in this Operation will be geared towards recruiting and simply getting our name out there. This will be accomplished through the gaming and graphics categories. There will also be an internal run-on to continue the story background of this operation. The deadline for all categories is November 5th. I shall be taking a short LoA for about another week. You may have noticed my personage missing from the comm channels and my lack of attendance in certain areas. I am on a special mission and shall return shortly.

 

(OOC - This is a very busy time for me, I work in an apartment complex as the maintenance person and there are a lot of leases coming up and a bunch of move outs. This means I have to turn the apartments around rather quickly and have very little time left to do much else. I check email in the evening and will reply to any that I get there. After this week is done, It gets a lot slower...)
