Well the end of March has arrived, and we have a winner for the Monthly Topic. Though it saddens we that only one person actually entered the monthly topic. The work that I did receive was superb.

I am starting a new monthly topic this month. 'Wrath' will be your subject. With the attendance from the previous competition there should be some easy medals out there for people who want to participate.

 Greetings Brotherhood.

Things are looking good for the DB finally. Recruitment is up and we will probably be consolidating our forces into highly active units under leadership who are willing and able to lead. Things are finally turning around after a long, lingering darkness.

Some talk of a possible joint competition with the EH Directorate is in the talks. This will likely focus around fiction and gaming (mostly on Empire at War). Talks are still new, but I think this will become a certainty. More on this in the future.

The Dark Council is finally back up (mostly) to full strength. Please welcome our new MAA, DA Baron. Baron has a long history in the DB and I know he will make a fine addition to the DC. I would also like to welcome the new Headmaster of the Shadow Academy, DJK Keth D'Jek. Keth has been an active member of the DB for a long time and also former P:HM for about a year. He is well experienced and should shape up to be a great HM. Congrats to both!


I have also, as promised, been looking at the Order of Battle for the Dark Brotherhood. I have been examining the HET's current layout of ships. Each HET has a Corvette in their possession save for HET Validus who also has one squadron of TIE Fighters for winning a DB-wide competition back when I was Deputy Grand Master. While I want to add more starships and fighters to each HET, I do not think adding them across the board is a good idea at this point. But I do think a HET should be able to win them.

To that end, I will be discussing with the DC and certain other individuals about a possible Vendetta competitions in the near future. Probably during May or June. The winner of the Vendetta could walk away with a brand new Frigate or maybe something larger. Second and third place could score a new squadron of fighters or something just as good. Now the exact scoring and point system have not yet been discussed, but I want to make it even across the board. Look for more on this in the near future.

**Recruitment**

Recruitment numbers are up slightly. This is very good news indeed. I would like to encourage all members of the Dark Brotherhood to recruit. It could be just word of mouth to friends in real life, or maybe post a link on a message board you frequent. Everything helps. So please, continue to recruit whenever you can.


** Tau Squadron **

Those of you who have been around for awhile know exactly what I'm talking about. Tau Squadron was the DB's own Elite squadron. And back in the day, they were some of the BEST pilots in all of the EH. So why am I talking about it? I want it back, and so do a few more people out there.

So here is the deal, I would like to see Tau Squadron reopen. I am looking for the best and the brightest pilots to join. These pilots will (probably) be set in their own HET obviously named Tau. All pilots in the EH are encouraged to apply. As this is an Elite squadron all pilots will be hand picked by me and select few. All those interested, email me at DarkJediHades@aol.com.

If you think you can handle it, let's see what you got. Email me and tell me why you think your worthy of holding the name of Tau on your flight suit. Include your PIN number. Only those with the best scores are allowed to join.

There was a DB-wide AWOL check recently. We have had some no-shows, unfortunately. Myself and the DC will be confirming the numbers this week. Unfortunately, this means a HET or... TWO might close. The HETs who are active currently are Taranis, Cethin, and Nox Eterna. If you are not in these HETs and are STILL ACTIVE.. email me and MAA Baron immediately. Those who are active will be rolled into the remaining HETs. If you do not reply, you will be sent to the Rogues.

Deep crowds of people were lined in every corner of the public square in New Imperial City on Aurora Prime. An event of such propotions had not come in quite some time, and many people had come to cheer in their support. Upon the stage were four of some of the most known individuals in the Galaxy. Baronet Hades, Governor General of Ullyr, Baron Prower, System Moff of Phare, Baron Kalin, System Moff of Setii, and Baron Gin, High Moff of Alpha Sector. Lord Gin allowed the people of Aurora Prime to calm a bit as he stepped forward, and motioned for them to silence.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Galactic Empire, I stand here before you today to present to you three of Alpha Sectors finest. Their services thus far to their people, to their staff, and to this Directorate are commendable and show excellence and promise of future glory. They have set themselves apart by distinguishing themselves, by making themselves leaders by example. Such a trait is rare but yet demanded so highly upon this day in age. I am proud to serve this Sector with such leaders assisting me in servicing our territories. These three men in particular deserve your gratitude, your praise, and your respect as without them our progress would stunt greatly! They have proven themselves loyal followers of the Empire, dedicated servants of the Directorate and its people, and leaders of leaders!

As Im sure youve all been aware, Special Operations Command was hit very hard by real life issues over the last few months. Late last year, I was involved in a serious car accident which forced my absence for several months. Early this year, MGN Ric Hunter was appointed Prefect but then forced to resign due to real life commitments. Ive since been re-appointed Prefect, and hopefully will be get us all back on track. I commend all of you for sticking with the Hammers Fist over the last few rough months, and I urge you to continue doing so and help us build this club back up to its former glory!

Operation: Mongoose has been canceled due to the former PRFs abrupt exit, however the new Vice Prefect, Colonel Xantros, and the CO, Colonel Aija, is currently working on their own version of the Operation and I hope to have something going in the next 7 to 10 days. In the meantime, those of you who are gamers get out there and game! Give the Hammers Fist some exposure, and try to recruit people who are looking for a group to play with. Also, keep your eyes on the Hammers Fist message board at eh.stryfe.net for ongoing news. For those of you who like to write, there is an ongoing runon on the message board for Introductions.

Governors and Moffs,

On this 13th day of March, year 2010, we have come to the finish of the major AWOL check of the Emperor's Hammer Directorate and due to the results there have been some major changes made to our territories.

First on behalf of the Ministry Council and myself I personally thank those of you whom have taken the interest and time to report in, and dedicate some of your valuable time to the Directorate. I state now that regardless of position, each and everyone of us are a valuable and important part of this Directorate. Without the Moffs the Ministry Council would have no one to lead their Sectors and Systems. Without the Governor Generals and Lieutenant Governors the Moffs would have no one to personally direct the planets and their staff. Without the Regional Governors, and I state that those of you that are Regional Governors are some of our most important members, we would have no ideas, participants, and direction over our planets. So truthfully, thank you to all of you who have chosen to remain.

As I stated there have been some serious changes. After the AWOL check, and my appointment to High Moff over Alpha Sector, this left Beta Sector with only two members. It was a hard thing to do as I myself have always been a member of Beta Sector, and am a Baron of Karana, but as of now by the authority of the Grand Moff - Beta Sector has been closed with its remaining membership transferred to Alpha Sector. I apologize to those that were members of the Beta Sector, especially considering the fact that the two that were transferred both were respectable members of our Government that held Command Positions, but after discussing the issue with the Grand Moff the decision was made to close the Sector. For those of you that are coming from Beta Sector to Alpha Sector, my words of advise are this. Just hang in there, and you'll be right back where you were. We are an ever growing, ever changing organization and the time will come where your Empire will need you to take your former positions. I have done my best to assign you to positions close to that of what you held before, and both of you are being allowed to keep your current rank and titles. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding on this matter.

In other news, Alpha Sector has exploded in membership. I am pleased to announce that 50% of the Setii System has been currently filled and I am hoping to see more join soon. The Phare System has come to 25% filled. While this may seem like a decrease, it is actually a great thing my fellow Government officials. Everyone that is marked on these rosters are in fact active, and have agreed to participate as active members of this Directorate. So in short, we are off to an excellent start. The following members of Imperial Government have been seated in their respective command positions.

-Intimate knowledge of Command at the Squadron level (Passed SM/2 or 3 or WM, or command experience)
-The will to lead by example through flying activity and other forms
-The Ability to keep pilots informed with more than weekly communication through E-mail and MBs
-The Ability to run competitions on a monthly level
-Good ideas for the TC and Wing levels and the ability to present it to the SOO/TCCOM.

KAP Azurin Luna has decided to resign from her post as DUX of Maelstrom. It is with a heavy heart she makes this decision, but can not put forth the energy as a leader anymore.

I give thanks to her, for all the effort she has put forth as a leader within the Brotherhood and hope her successes in the past will motivate her and her new fellow Hetaeria members in Cethin.
