This week we’re unveiling new screenshots showing off some of the cool new boss battles found in the game. Take down Asajj Ventress and her massive Titan Droid, tame the mysterious beast in the lair of General Grievous and try to stand your ground against the massive, ancient Zillo Beast! These bosses are just a taste of some of the many that will appear in the game, so expect plenty more surprises and excitement when the game hits later in March. Apparently next year there is going to be an video game exhibit at the Smithsonian’s American Art Museum and they’re letting people vote on which games will be on display. How is this specifically relevant to the TIE Corps? TIE Fighter is in the voting in the Transition Era (#4) under the Target Genre. Additionally, there are a few other Star Wars games in the mix, including Super Star Wars, Shadows of the Empire, and Knights of the Old Republic.

Now that we\'ve heard from Cyric and Ronin about the status of Astatine (and I do agree with it in every way)  I think we can consider the subject closed.

Now I want to concentrate on the Future of the EH and leave the past behind us. There are those of us who have been here through the good and the bad, through the splits and the attempted take overs and none of that matters anymore... So let it go and lets focus on what we can do for this club, not what we have done.

Right now the EH is poised to be one of the biggest forces in the upcoming release of The Old Republic and we need to do what we can to recruit for it, get people involved in other aspects of the EH while we wait for it, and keep those people so that on Day 1 we have a guild worthy of being called a guild.

There is also a rumor of a new Xwing title but again, it\'s just a rumor and I will be keeping a close watch on LucasArts come E3 this year... but if true we also need to gear up for that as every Xwing release has always caused a surge in membership.

We are also always looking for good ideas on boosting membership from any other angle of Star Wars gaming. From MUDs to Pen and Paper to mods to existing games so if any of you know of anything or have heard of anything that we can look into and maybe tap into that community we want to know about it.

We are also always looking for new ideas... but be prepared to own that idea if we like it... I don\'t want people coming to me with ideas but then aren\'t willing to work to make it happen... We\'ve had enough of those in the past that we\'re pretty sick of it. Any help is always gratiously and gladly accepted... but promises of help with no follow through are frowned upon.

I also know that I have been kinda slow in some aspects... been having some time management issues lately with some of my larger projects but working on it so hope to start clearing my plate real soon of at least some of them like the NL and Wiki upgrade.

Lastly... never be afraid to email or message me... I am always willing to talk if I\'m around and I answer direct email questions within hours if not minutes... Most of the time that I\'m online I\'m also working so if my responses are a bit slow I apologize but I will get to them if you stick around.

Over the next few days, I\'ll be updating the various admin functions to incorporate a new dialog box. With this function the ability to add a WYSIWYG editor for various text sections.

In regards to Cyric\'s recent post re: Astatine, I just wanted to post a message of support. Although none of us wants to re-open old wounds, to this day, Astatine has never returned (or offered to return) our Member database. I entrusted too much responsibility to one person in him and for that I apologize to you all. However, to move forward, we need a clean break and I offer my support to the FC in this decision. ...

Its been a while that I\'ve put a report out and figured it time. There have been a few things that have popped up that need to be reported.

First I\'d like to address the expulsion of Astatine from the club. I decided that after two years of waiting for him to find a conscious and return that which he stole from the club, that it was time to remove his ability to return to this club. The expulsion covers a vast array of actions that Astatine had perpetrated upon this club culminating in he and others trying to accomplish what they tried to accomplish. This of course then spurred countless hours and many months of hard work by several members of the club to rebuild a database and website. Together with GA Ronin, I have declared that Astatine be stricken from the database, medals and awards removed and never be allowed back in this club. It is not up for debate and quite frankly if you don\'t like this decision you can join him.

The Training Office has completely revamped all of the courses and combined them into one easy to access area. Every groups training is located now under IWATS, or should be. IWATS is not solely a TC training area, it is universal to the EH.

This leads into a centralization of the EH for anything and everything. The new database is done, but there are issues that still need to be ironed out. The next thing that I\'d like to see is a uniform creator capable of creating uniforms for all the remaining groups and is compatible with the database.

So where is the EH going next? Good question. There are several rumors floating around about another flight sim game in the Xwing series. For right now it is just that: a rumor, but as more details emerge we will certainly open that platform to the club with open arms. Fingers Crossed.

TOR: There are plans to have TOR be the next EH thrust. Current plans would be to have it in the EH DB and them from there expand it based on the playability of the game and our ability to have the basic fundamentals in the club translate to the gaming environ of TOR. I understand that it has now been pushed back until September, so more on this until its released.

I would also like to see the club reach out to some of the other clubs that have been at odds with us over the course of the past several years. Most of the angst of the other clubs has revolved around Astatine. He is now long enough removed from this club that it is time to mend our bridges and close the gaps that have separated this club. Make no mistake though that this club will not yield any of our precepts or time honed traditions for the sake of \"making new friends\". The olive branches are out...

There have been several successful comps held by the EHDB and the TC. This is excellent to see! Some on line comps with other clubs have also seen a modicum of success and something that we\'d like to see more of.

I\'m hoping that 2011 sees this club move forward and recover some lost road....
