The Imperial High Inquisitor and other members of the HCI have gone underground after receiving several threats against them.

It would appear some members of the Emperor's Hammer worlds do not appreciate them looking into what happened on the Forest Moon of Endor.

The HCI announced that no matter what, it will continue its inquiry.

Star Conflict has it's second (annual?) Halloween Event. The objective is to destroy enemy ships infected with the W.I.T.C.H. virus: a total of 666 of them. So far, I've been able to verify they appear in Open Space missions, and the game manual itself says they are also in PvP missions. As before, they are also available in PvE missions, but a lot faster to get at in PvP!

The price is a special module (Shield Havoc), which will drain enemy shields at a rate of 12.3% per second over 6000 m (command fighters only).

After a long time, the Imperial High Court of Inquisitors has been reassembled for a most interesting case.

An as yet unknown party has brough before the HCI a case of genocide. The claim, which is made against the Emperor's Hammer as a remnant of the Galactic Empire, deals with the aftermath of the Battle of Endor. According to the case files, the claim consists of two parts: mass murder of ewoks on the forest moon, as well as genocide among the same ewoks cause by the fallout on the moon after the explosion of the second Death Star.

As of yet, we are unaware who has files this complaint, who is behind them, and if the HCI will even consider this complaint.

If you know anyone whi serves on the HCI - let us know! We will want an interview with them!

With no news yet from the ISDs Hammer and Warrior, there's little to report on their statuses. Fortunately, there's always someone obliging us with worthy activities to report on.

Today, we our special subscribers-only editorial concerns the VSD Aggressor and its crew. Several cargo manifests of freighters delivering supplies have turned out to be false. Our investigative reporter was unable to determine the actual cargo delivered. We will avoid speculation as to this cargo, but fear the worst.

Massive cyber attacks by hackers and other assorted Rebel scum have caused us to be completely off line for a while. Well, 10 days or so. In that time, we have not been able to report on various important things that have happened. It is being able to report such things that keeps us alive, so we really don't like this.

Anyway, what did we miss? A new TAC (belated congratulations from all of us at INN), the old TAC stepping down after more than 8 years (ouch), the awarding of several Silver Stars of the Empire (it seems HA Dempsey's was not yet mentioned), and the awarding of an Imperial Cross (Excellent!).

We hope to be able to bring you updates like these when they happen, not a week after. But we have good faith in the Imperial Services that are hunting down the scum that have been doing this to us. And you know who you are!

Earlier in the week, I'd neglected to report that RA Hawkins was awarded his second Silver Star of the Empire for his service to Kappa Squadron and as COOA, as well as his many efforts beyond those two roles. Way to go, Hawkins!

For his service as Kappa CMDR, LC Repulsor was awarded his first Silver Star of the Empire. Congratulations!

LC Repulsor has stepped down as Kappa CMDR, but is remaining on active duty as a Flight Member in Kappa. Thank you for your service, Rep! MAJ Ulrich Drachen was chosen to begin a second tour of duty as Kappa CMDR. Congratulations, and good luck!

For his service to the TIE Corps and the Emperor's Hammer over the past years General Jarek La'an has been rewarded with an Imperial Cross. Congratulations on this well deserved honour, General!

Well, maybe I'm overreacting, but after 8 years and some 6 or 7 weeks, I think the word 'era' applies :)


As soon as me and my replacement can decide on a time, I will be stepping down as Tactical Officer. It's been a fun ride, and it yielded me a 2x GOE, an IC, a MoH and a OoR, but the time to go has arrived.

I'll be sticking around the Sinister to work in my replacement, and the Hammer will just have to learn to live with more of me :)

GN Jarek La'an has stepped down as Theta CMDR and VA/COL Mark Schueler was chosen as the new Theta CMDR. La'an remains on active duty after taking up Mark's Flight Leader position in Theta. Congratulations, gentlemen, on a successful tour of duty and the beginning of a new tour!

RA Hawkins is pleased to announce that the Star Conflict PvE mission 'Poseidon Complex' is now an approved exception to the normal PvE requirements.

In the mission, your team must destroy a single large vessel, which reports as 0 kills and 0 assists. However, it is a difficult match, so victory is worthy of note. As such, a minimum EFF of 500 is required for a valid submission, rather than a kill or assist.

The MP submission instructions will be updated accordingly.

The TAC Office under my command has been able to dodge this for quite a while, but every now and then situations arise that require drastic measures. Today, we have closed the book one such an example.

Today, disciplinary measures were taken against two pilots in the TIE Corps, both inactive at this time. After investigations, it has been determined that Captain Alphafoxtrot1 has at least 1 mission high score that cannot have been gotten through the rules of the game.

For this, there is only one punishment: a demotion to Sub-Lieutenant, stripping of all high scores, flight record, and the scrapping of all acquired FCHG points and medals.

The same fate befalls Captain vexan, who was caught with a cheated high score quite some time ago, but it seems proper measures were neglected back then.

It makes me sad to have to take these actions, I do sincerely hope this will be the last time.

Yes, we are still alive. Unfurtunately, it seems to be harder to find stuff worthy of reporting if we won't report on current ongoing Fleet Operations!

We coul of course be reporting on how the SOO painted his office ina pearly pink color, or how the TCCOM has brought a Tribble onboar the ISDII Challenge as a pet, but we wonder if you'd be uinterested in such things.

So - if you see anything of note in your area, don't hesitate to let us know so we can print it!

in case you hadn't noticed yet....

When you sign onto Star Conflict for the first time each day, you always get a bag of goodies. `For the time being, when you've collected those, the store opens, and you can buy another bag of goodies for FREE.

The past few days, INN staff has been ina heft discussion with the EH command officers. Through argumentation rather than sheer force, they have convinced us it is in the best interest of our TIE Corps pilots to cease reporting on the fleet operations currently going on.

TC staff has ensured us full disclosure when the operations have ended, and we will report on them once that time comes.

Until then, we will not be silent, we will continue to report on matters of importance. Assuming we can find matters important enough to do so!

It is my pleasure to announce the award of the first merrit medal for this round of evaluations. Congratulations to Admiral Pellaeon on his new Silver Star of the Emperor for his flying activity during the month of September. A well deserved reward!

COO Admiral Crsepe just stepped down and transfered to a FM within Kappa squadron as COL Crsepe. Thank you for all your hard work, time and effort you put into the COO job during the past 27 months, Crsepe. As a sign of gratitude for your work I am proud to reward you with the Grand Order of the Emperor!

The new COO is Rear Admiral Hawkins, Crsepe's former COOA. Congratulations on your promotion and new assignment, RA Hawkins, I am sure you'll do a hell of a job!
