Three bits of battlefront news for you.


The first are some details about the upcoming DLC - Death Star. The most intersting stuff for us is that there are space combats added - something that was sorely missing in the initial release. The highlight of this sounds to be 'multi-stage matches' over the Death Star. The first part has you battling high over the Death Star surface, before switching to a 'trench run' mode. It will be interesting to see how this is reported, and how we can record it for the TC. As previously mentioned, the TIE Advanced MK 1 and Skywalker's Red 5 X-Wing are added as new hero ships.

The above ariticle also mentions a second piece of news - the final Battlefront expansion will be called Rogue One: Scarif. We can hope that given Rogue One's name implies the film features the elite Rogue Squadron, perhaps their creation, there may be further Fighter Squadron additions to come.


Finally, For those of you with a PS4 and VR headset, there is a Fighter Squadron VR mission being released free for PS4. The Star Wars: Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission features a the chance to do some free flying to get used to it, then allows you to move on into the mission once you have got comfortable.
