I'm happy to announce courtesy of the TIE Corps Commander (Fleet Admiral Pellaeon) and the Dark Brotherhood Grandmaster (Tomaas Montte) that the Emperor's Hammer has managed to arrange a weekly Combat Event against the Rebel Squadrons organizations. These events will take place every Saturday at 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM Eastern Time. Pilots from both the TIE Corps and Battleteam Members of the Dark Brotherhood are eligible to submit for both Legions of Combat and Clusters of Fire in their respective groups for multiplayer credit!

By the way, the TIE Corps is holding a naming competition for this event. Send your suggestions to FA Pellaeon, RA Pete Mitchell and VA Silvius for consideration! If there are at least three submissions or more, winner gets an Iron Star-Gold Ribbon downgrading to Iron Star-Silver Ribbon and Bronze Ribbon respectively if needed. Deadline for this is 9/28/2017

SK Horus Blackheart has informed me and I have subsequently verified that Star Wars: Empire At War, the venerable space/ground combat RTS by Petroglyth (remnants of Westwood Studios, the creators of Command & Conquer) has recieved an update on September 1!

Since GameSpy closed, Empire at War players (like Horus and myself) have had to use workarounds like GameRanger. But now, with this surprise update, multiplayer has been updated in both the base Empire at War and its expansion Forces of Corruption to utilize Steamworks for multiplayer support. On top of that, player mods can be enabled in-game and via Steam Workshop, windowed mode is supported, more than 3 AI players are supported in certain modes and several long-winded bugs have been resolved.

So if you already own Empire at War on Steam, it might be worth a second look. You may have already picked up the update! If not, I suggest giving it a try! Let this be the start of a revival for a grand classic.

Greetings all!

I am happy to announce that the Dark Brotherhood is now supporting Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes for iOS and Android. Our Consul has worked out a tracking system which has met with my approval. Through this system, we'll be tracking a few different statistics in the game on both operating systems to help put together information for activity and rewards.

You can submit statistics either by having your BTL/CON as an ally or by taking a screenshot from your phone and submitting it up the chain of command.

We'll have a more formal writeup for the statistics, their relationship and rewards up soon. As for me, I am Miles Prower (MilesTPrower in iOS Game Center) and I am getting into this game. I leveled up like 9 times before I remembered that I had to complete this announcement!

Ladies and gentlemen, it is with a heavy heart that I must announce that Beta Squadron was reduced to a total of three active pilots. Despite the herculean effort that General Both put forth, the reduction from the loss of Lieutenant Tobias Miller and Sublieutenant Tag put the squadron to three pilots.

Three pilots simply is not enough to justify keeping a squadron open. We attempted to hold this back by communicating directly with the two pilots both as Commodore and Squadron Commander. We also tried checking in with the Reserves to see if anyone was interested in rejoining at Beta.

However this is not to be a negative reflection of General Both's ability as a Squadron Commander. He has been a valiant example, remaining positive for his entire time and even singlehandedly lead the Hammer's efforts in Raise the Flag 2017. With that I will be making the recommendation to the TIE Corps Commander and Strategic Operations Officer that he be awarded the Gold Star of the Empire.

On top of that, we will not let his command abilities stagnate for Commander Drake Starfire has graciously opened his doors to his compatriots at Beta to fill in the gaps. General Both will be Epsilon Flight Leader 2-1 and Squadron Executive Officer while General Golbez Harvey and Lieutenant Colonel Kyle Kroan will fill in Flight II with him alongside Epsilon cornerstone Colonel Gyssler. Working together, these two will be certain to become the dynamic duo of the TIE Corps. Batman and Robin, Starsky and Hutch, Riggs and Murtagh, Pete Mitchell and Rubber Ducky of Death. You get the idea!

From the first day as Commodore Miles Prower was at full throttle. He is one of the most motivated officers of the TC with many ideas to develop our club further. He manages weekly TC meetings to gather the mood and atmosphere of the members. Together with other members he organizes good old MP dogfights in XvT and XWA. Miles is one of the backbones of the TIE Corps and without him I would not be able to lead and fulfill my duties as TCCOM.
