Only a couple of pilots accepted COMPOST's invitation to participate in this year's event, but we have our Lord of the TIEs for 2020 and even a pair of new mission high scores on TIE-TC 244!

Congratulations to LCM Marek Ny`Irfa, the winner of All I Want For Life Day (Is My Platinum COMPOST Membership Card)! With a laserless score of 246,534, he's now one of the top scorers on the battle and the new holder of the high scores for missions 3 and 5. Excellent work! LCM Ny`Irfa will receive an IS-GW and the title of Lord of the TIEs 2020 on his profile.

The Next Hammer Commodore

As you've seen in recent reports, HA Elwood the Brave has retired from the role of Commodore of the ISDII Hammer. This was his second tour as HamCOM, the first being before his tours as SOO and TCCOM a few years ago. We're happy to have his help whenever he's able to give it and we very much appreciate everything Woody's done for the Hammer and the entire Corps. For his service as Commodore this round, I've recommended that he receive the Silver Star of the Empire.

We asked our current CMDRs for volunteers to step into the role of HamCOM and had four great applicants. Out of those, we asked some questions and got some excellent answers back. The TCCS deliberated for a while and I'm proud to announce that GN Phoenix Berkana will be our next Hammer Commodore with a promotion to the rank of Rear Admiral. Congratulations and good luck on your new assignment!

HA Elwood the Brave will be temporarily assigned to Inferno Squadron and returned to the rank of General, though he'll still hold High Admiral on his secondary profile as the Command Attache to the Training Officer. He originally intended to be assigned to Firebird Squadron, but Firebird's full now.

Firebird being full means that we're lacking a place to assign additional infiltration-minded pilots. It's been our intention to open a second infiltration squadron if there was demand for it, so now's a good time to announce that MAJ Talon Jade will be leading a second infiltration squadron to be opened and named soon. To give the new squadron a solid start I'd like any volunteers for it to email or DM me to indicate their interest. I'll work through the needed transfer approvals after that.

Thunder Squadron will need a CMDR now that RA Phoenix Berkana will be assigned elsewhere, please email or DM me if you're interested in volunteering for that role. If you haven't taken SM/5 yet, I'd highly recommend taking that before applying so that you know what you're getting into, there's a few things that changed a lot between SM/4 and SM/5.
