In addition to being the CMDR of Rho Squadron as COL Hav Antiel, he'll now also be serving as the Command Attache to the Logistics Officer as AD Hav Antiel. Congratulations on your appointment! |
After taking a few days to talk to the applicants and make some decisions, I'm ready to announce that the new Strategic Operations Officer (SOO) will be Vice Admiral John T. Clark. VA Clark is currently serving as the Combat Operations Officer (COO) where he's been mostly focused on multiplayer activity, though we've made changes to that role recently that make the COO more involved with the overall operations of the TIE Corps that Clark has taken on with such skill that he makes it look like it'd been that way the whole time. Becoming SOO takes him one more step in that direction, making him a part of every facet of life in the TIE Corps. Taking his place as COO will be Admiral Miles Prower, currently the Commodore of the ISDII Hammer. AD Prower has been a fixture aboard the Hammer for several years now and has been involved with all of the live events the TIE Corps has managed to put together, so making him the COO feels like a natural fit to further our efforts to get people online and playing together. These appointments will take place on Saturday, May 9th so that we're not disturbing our upcoming evaluation cycle and competitions can be wrapped up before changing hands. Congratulations, gents! With our TIE Corps Command Staff now complete, both Commodore positions will be open. All interested officers should email me, VA Clark, and AD Prower with a summary of what you'd like to do or change as the Commodore of either the ISDII Hammer or ISDII Warrior. |
SL Andedude of Alpha Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant for completing his INPR. Congratulations, LT Andedude! |

This is a small change but one I hope some of you will enjoy. Raise the Flag is our yearly competition where the winning ship is named the Flagship of the TIE Corps. We don't tend to refer to that title often for the rest of the year until the next event, but there's certainly one more way we can display it very visibly. Effective immediately, the TCCOM and the soon-to-be-named SOO are assigned to the current flagship, the ISDII Hammer. The ship's name will appear at the end of our ID lines in recognition of the achievement of its pilots and Commodore. Should the title of flagship return to the ISDII Warrior later this year, so too will our assignments travel to that ship. We've raised the stakes for Raise the Flag, so this is the Warrior's opportunity to rise to the occasion or let the ISDII Hammer continue to have the honor of our presence. In an RP sense, keep in mind that this doesn't mean that the TCCOM and SOO never leave the flagship. We have facilities on Aurora Prime, we're called to the SSSD Sovereign every so often, and we can temporarily transfer our flag to another ship if required to meet the needs of an operation. All I'm saying is that the flagship is our home base for day-to-day operations. If you're interested in learning more about Raise the Flag and its past results, check out http://rtf.tsaunders.net/ that was built and is maintained by AD/GN Pickled Yoda. Thanks again for all the work you've put into it, Yods! |
Rho Squadron has been activated in Wing II aboard the ISDII Warrior under the command of COL Hav Antiel. As with Beta Squadron before it, Rho is in need of volunteers to fill its ranks. Interested pilots should email their CMDR, COM, the COO, and the TCCOM to request a transfer. |
AD Hav Antiel, Commodore of the ISDII Warrior, was awarded the Grand Order of the Emperor for his service as COM and Sin Squadron CMDR before that. Congratulations! |
With the continuing upward trend in the roster counts, I’ve decided to open two more squadrons. The first of these is Beta Squadron of Wing I aboard the ISDII Hammer under the command of COL Doyon. COL Doyon is decidedly a member of the Old School, having commanded a squadron all the way back in 1999 and having a PIN even lower than mine, which is a pretty rare thing. What Beta Squadron needs next are volunteers to join their ranks. For those of you that might be looking for a fresh start, it doesn’t get much fresher than a newly-reopened squadron with nobody in it other than the CMDR and whoever else is joining up about the same time you are. If you’re interested, please email your CMDR, COM, the COO, and myself. |
Congratulations to the top three from Week Nine:

As mentioned previously, HA Pete Mitchell has retired from the position of TCCOM and returned to Kappa Squadron as a Major. He had the option of taking the rank of Colonel, but says he'd like to work his way up starting from the last line rank he held. Thank you for your service, enjoy your break, and we look forward to seeing you back in action soon! Yours truly, FA Plif, has now officially taken on the role of TCCOM and now begins the search for a SOO in earnest. Interested officers should get in touch with me ASAP. |
VA Hav Antiel, Commodore of the ISDII Warrior, was promoted to the rank of full Admiral for his excellent service in that role. Quoted from his promotion recommendation: For the last time in the foreseeable future, two former Warrior Commodores have the honor of recognizing the outstanding service of another officer who's commanded the mighty Warrior. As a Vice Admiral, Hav Antiel has demonstrated thoughtfulness in approaching problems, determination to see those problems resolved, and unreserved loyalty to the officers under his command. These virtues have earned him the respect of his subordinates, the appreciation of his superiors, and the admiration of everyone who's had the pleasure of working with him. Wherever his career leads next, I have no doubt that Hav will continue to serve with distinction reflecting the years of experience he has as an example for others to follow. With great pride, I've recommended him for promotion to the rank of Admiral. - FA Plif Hav Antiel has been a rock for the Warrior for some time now and been a steady hand leading the Warrior forward and through. His great decision making, communication, and hilarious fictions has made working with him a pleasure, even if he shoots me once in a while when he's on my simulator team... This promotion is most well deserved and makes me proud of my past and future ship. I look forward to serving under Admiral Hav Antiel very soon. - HA Pete Mitchell Congratulations, AD Hav Antiel! |
FA Pete Mitchell, the TIE Corps Commander, was honored with a promotion to High Admiral. Way to go, boss! Per the Fleet Commander, GA Rapier: 'Well tomorrow Pete steps down as TCCOM after an illustrious run and for that, he gets to spend his last day as a High Admiral. He will get to retain that rank should he ever choose to return to the Admiralty. Congrats on the promotion, and good luck in Kappa.' Congratulations, HA Pete Mitchell! |
FA Plif, aka yours truly so that I'm not talking about myself in third person, was honored with the Imperial Cross. Per the Fleet Commander, GA Rapier: 'For his outstanding service as SOO FA Pete Mitchell has recommended Plif for the Imperial Cross and I completely agree... congrats.' |
