Ladies and Gentlemen,
Yesterday I asked for and received the resignations of the GM and DGM. This is through no fault of their own and it is not because of any actions either of them have taken.
I am not currently taking applications to replace them as I have other plans.
The DB as a group has a long history and has run on that history for the last 20+ years… but I have come to the conclusion that the DB model no longer really works. Being based on a system of hierarchy that worked great when there were several hundred members spread over 6+ different clans but falls apart when there isn’t.
And that is where we stand today.
No, I am not closing the DB. What we are going to do is build it into something that works for today, something that has the room to grow but is not stuck in procedures that don’t apply to it anymore.
We will be archiving what the DB was and then using it’s bare bones as the structure to build something better.
In the next few days I will be putting together a small team to gather ideas and start getting the new structure in place. If you have any ideas please submit them to your CON and PCON as they will be part of the team. I’m also available for you to talk to if you have any questions.
Miles will remain in the MAA position for now in order to maintain the roster and medal processing.
Silwar and Kalve will continue to handle the day to day operation of the clan.
Please let me know if you have any questions and I’ll see you out there.

From CPT Honsou, CMDR of Tempest Squadron: Following his completion of IWATS Training, SL TwinJedi has been astute in completing his TIE Corps paperwork and fully completed his INPR along with choosing and naming his personal craft. With a handful of Legions of Combat pending too, I am proud to recommend his promotion to full Lieutenant. Congratulations, LT TwinJedi! |
“Since commissioning with the Tie Corps on the 28th day of the fifth month of this Imperial Year, LT Alexandre “ossusplayz” Morgan of Rho Squadron has amassed 45 Legions of Combat - despite the arduous course load of studies demanded of our youngest pilots. Such a record is duly impressive, but what stands out about LT Alexandre 'ossusplayz' Morgan is his commitment to improving his flight skills while bolstering the morale of Rho Squadron as a whole. |
“During the past several month, CM Dynamus of Thunder Squadron has been leading his flight consistently, while also earning personal merit awards, and was demonstrating leadership excellence. Thus I recommend that Commander Dynamus now become Captain Dynamus.“ |
LT Ryuzokin of Thunder Squadron has shown consistent activity and has recently passed the TCCORE course demonstrating the ability to command and the ability to get things done. Because of this I recommend the Lieutenant retire his bars and pick up the next insignia for Lieutenant Commander!“ |
After 15 months as FM and completion of TCCORE, Hopfot completed the mandatory requirements for the promotion. But lets not stop there as Hopfot has been a constant force in Alpha Squadron pushing for activity, comms and participating in graphics . His presence is part of our very identity as a squadron. I deeply appreciate his time and dedication put into things like 3d modelling and printing, the squadron t-shirt initiative and his participation on SWS gaming. For all this I'm really happy to recommend his promotion to Lieutenant Commander. |
From HA Mordechi Wolfe, Commodore of the ISDII Warrior: Captain Wreckage is a rare breed of Imperial Navy Officer. He came from outside of the Ship to take over as SinCMDR and from the very start has proven to be both an exceptional Pilot and an inspiring leader. Over the course of his tenure as CMDR, now just over four months, he has personally earned a vast haul of merit and service awards, amongst them no less than four Silver Stars of the Empire; these alone are evidence of his high levels of activity. But during this time, Wreckage has also demonstrated exemplary dedication to both Sin and the Warrior itself through his service as Squadron Commander. He has run numerous competitions that have been both interesting and innovative such as “What’s Your PoiSIN”, “SINGO!”, “Find the Difference” and “Sinfantry Training” – these are indicative of someone who seeks to generate activity for their pilots that is both fun and inclusive. In addition, Wreckage has proactively organised social gaming nights for his pilots – crucial for generating culture and ethos amongst Sin Squadron. For all of this, and more, Captain Wreckage is hereby recommended for promotion to the rank of Major. Congratulations, MAJ Wreckage! |
LCM Aaron Cremel of Alpha Squadron has held the position of FL for more than 4 months, has had his fair share of non flight operations participation and has been active on flight ops as well, being XWA one of his main fronts. Our good Cremel has been an important part of this team and has assisted us with his valuable activity during these competition times when performance was needed and he was up to the challenge. |
LCM Milo Antu of Alpha Squadronhas more than 4 months on his rank plus 6 merit awards on his account. Formal aspects aside, he has been part of this unit for quite a while. He has been participating on comms, flew for RtF using our Excel sheet as a guide and did represent us well. I'd like to mention he did this in spite of being busy with RL duties which is a testament to his devotion to the TIE Corps. We appreciate his efforts! |
For earning a first number of Legions of Combat SL Haro of Alpha Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant! |
'Captain fr0Zen, Rho Squadron Commander, is hereby recommended for a promotion to the substantive rank of Major. During his time as CMDR, he has demonstrated that he is more than up to the task. He is an effective communicator, ensuring that information is passed up and down the chain of command. He contributes towards discussions on Ship-wide matters and always keeps me up to date on any developments with him and Rho. At the same time, fr0Zen leads by example - since his appointment, he has earned two Silver Stars and three Bronze Stars, as well as numerous Service medals from competitive activity, demonstrating high levels of activity. Fr0Zen is a conscientious, model CMDR and thoroughly deserving of this promotion.' |
'CM Wildfire has been a steadfast member of Beta Squadron, serving as a Flight Leader and maintaining the levels expected by the Empire. We have seen a consistent presence on the flight line, alongside contribution to communications and leadership. It is the opinion of the Commodore that the time has come to promote Commander Wildfire to the rank of Captain.' |
Demonstrating the urgency with which he stands for our future Emperor's return, SL TheGildedDeity of Rho Squadron, immediately took to the stars with LCM Davalorn and LT vapinvanman helping the trio to earn two glorious Legions of Combat. This warrants a promotion to full Lieutenant. |
For completing the TIE Corps Core IU course in addition to completing her INPR SL ElleOhh of Beta Squadron is hereby promoted to full Lieutenant. |
From LC Taygetta, CMDR of Epsilon Squadron: Since joining Epsilon Squadron in August, Isagar has wasted no time in fulfilling his duties as an Imperial pilot. Wasting no time in completing TCCORE as well as logging time in the cockpit tallying up LoS and LoC's. It brings me great joy in recommending his promotion to LCM. Congratulations, LCM Isagar Sho’oter! |
From COL Pete Mitchell, CMDR of Theta Squadron: SL Tango completed several graphics and therefore completed the requirements to be promoted to full Lieutenant! Congratulations! Congratulations, LT Tango! |
For filling in his INPR, completing a number of Single Player Missions, Legions of Combat and Skirmish and even the BFM Imperial University course,SL LQC-75-3 of Inferno Squadron has been promoted to full Lieutenant. |
