(Rear Admiral Alexandre Morgan sat at his desk and twiddled his thumbs, staring at his desk datapad as if that could make it chime faster. His patience, which in his relative youth was not abundant, was slowly but undeniably dwindling.

He was expecting a report to come in at any moment. He had tasked his staff to listen to the Doomsday's comms in his brief absence during the last standard month, and was eagerly awaiting a summarized report of the important intake. His report was already typed up except for what he anticipated to come from the report, and was sitting ready to plug it in.

He read through his current draft once more, an effort to burn time that he had already used countless times. By this point, he felt like he could have memorized it and recited it to the whole fleet instead of publishing it.

But he didn't get tired of reading it because it contained, in his opinion, the most exciting news of his reports so far. New simulations had been released, and old simulations were receiving a whole heap of rejuvenated attention. Other entertainment had been released for public view as well, and Morgan enjoyed hearing all about how people enjoyed that which the Doomsday was able to receive from the rest of the galaxy.

And then the pad chimed, and the report flashed to the screen. He quickly scanned it for any information he wanted to include, and then began filling in the gaps of his third report.)

Star Wars Hunters is the newest addition to the Star Wars video game lineup! Finally fully released, it can be played on iOS, Android, and Switch platforms! In addition, for those who prefer PC gaming, it can also be emulated to be able to be played in that manner. Check out here for the link to a video describing how to emulate. The EHRO is advertising to bring in many new members from this game's success, so if any existing member makes friends from this game, bring them in! Never turn down a recruiting opportunity!

The first few episodes of Star Wars: The Acolyte have been released, now currently at a total of five! Streaming on Disney+, the show depicts an earlier era of Jedi than normally seen on the screen, offering a fresh new story and fun characters! While not Star Wars, the Secret Order-approved sim Helldivers II has received a large update (and several consequent small patches), as well as a new warbond that, among many things, introduces more opportunities for cosmetic customization. These all promise to bring new energy and rejuvenated enjoyment to the game, so make sure to join your fellow Dark Jedi and put boots on the ground in the name of Super Earth and managed democracy!

Star Wars: Outlaws received gameplay footage and new information about the game during the Ubisoft Forward event! You can check out the gameplay video here, which illustrates a lot about the mechanics and flow of the game. The faction system, with interactive pathways for navigating the politics of the criminal underworld, continues to be highly emphasized as well. The game is confirmed to release on August 30th of this year.

Fresh off the press is the announcement of a new show that features, in block form, an altered galaxy with wacky and changed characters, plots, and more. Below is the description of the show from the Disney+ website. Click here to watch the teaser trailer! The current release date clocks in on September 13th, 2024.

"The entire Star Wars Galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling (Gaten Matarazzo), unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple. He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wondrously wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together."

Coming to PS5, PS4, XBox One, XBox X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on August 1st, this classic third-person action-adventure video game initially released in 2002 is seeing an edition come to the newest consoles and computers! Promising visual enhancements and other gameplay alterations, the Aspyr re-release also makes good on a decades-old unfulfilled promise from an easter egg. Check out this article for more details!

Star Wars: Squadrons is seeing a resurgence in popularity thanks to the efforts of BGIICOM fr0Zen! He is putting together a competitive team for the SCL league and is looking for pilots in the TIE Corps to join the team! No skill level threshold is required - much of the team will be comprised of great teachers, to which this Recon Officer can personally attest to. Contact fr0Zen through Discord if you are interested in joining these efforts.

One competition that can't go unmentioned is the Recon Office's Imperial Imagery Initiative competition - in which there are only about three days left! This challenges all members of the Emperor's Hammer, regardless of sub-group, to create and submit recruitment and propaganda posters for use by the Office. Awards will be given to the winners, and the top-voted poster will merit display in the following Recon Office report! Put the artist caps on, Imperials, and get to designing!
