Not sure how to get the ATRs at the end to capture the containers, in too much of a rush to try again.

great mission, very challenging defending your flagship from y-wing torps while trying to avoid a-wing missiles and x-wing attacks.
I should have preserved those containers and not destroy them from the jump

The mission is almost perfect but has some important flaws that only will show if pushing for maximum scoring. The plot is simple yet effective, player can choose a T/D to protect Y-W or GUN bombing and disabling a X7 Factory or be part of any of the two bombing flights. Either way, the challenges are high. Even using the Space Cadillac, aka TIE Defender, the edge is very much possible to achieve but will not be a walk in the park. On the other side, flying the Y-Ws or the GUNs is going to be a nightmare. The mission has it all, see bombing, space superiority, protection for a capture operation, and even disrupting a bombing run on your own capital ships. Every enemy will be armed with missiles and are going to use them sparingly. At the end of the day, when everything is wiped out, a crew of CUVs and TUGs will show up to capture the CN/As, but this was a mess of poor programming. All of the utility craft will take ages to reach the X7 and constantly crash on it after finishing the docking procedures. Additionally, those who manage to survive or maneuver away from dying on the walls of the factory, it will take over 10 minutes or even more to reach the DREAD. This was frustrating and totally ruined that final part of an otherwise, golden cast in excellence of a mission. Worth a try, you will not be disappointed, but beware for the last part of the mission. You will lose a tad of precious minutes of your life, to no avail.

Can't believe this doesn't have more reviews, it's not a terrible battle at all. I really like all the craft options available, and on easy at least you get a lot of ordinance/beam options. It's a little TIE buffet. You should take advantage of that, because at some point your ISD gets a little hammered if you're caught sleeping. Worth playing for the points and the fun.

Let's get the important things out of the way. First :D With that out of the way, this mission is simply great. I loved it. Noting it down to give it another go in the future. You have a choice of roles to fly as and there is a nice continuation whereby you have to be on the lookout for a bit instead of just afking.
There are currently no open bug reports for this battle.

Reconnaissance by Wolf Squadron pointed out that the Genko System is once again supplying the New Republic with warheads... and that they are assisting the NR Spine Security Force in luring and ambushing TC-ASF ships. The Genkoans knew what the concequence of their actions would be if we ever found out. Rancor Squadron will show them how right they were.
