I love everything about this mission - I love the concept, I love the story, I love that it exists. TIE Golf is all about getting the lowest score you can, and this mission is balanced well for the assignment, while still being quite fun even if you don't have any idea (or care) about what it's for in the first place.
If only there was a way to track the lowest scores instead of the highest scores on this one...

Wasn't around for TIE Golf, so not sure what the original purpose of this mission was. You have to be quick to get kills before all the other Imperial fighters do.

This is obviously a specialty mission, so my usual assessment of plot does not apply. That being said, it is polished in terms of development and presentation of required information to the player. Disregarding the original purpose of the mission, it is a good environment to work on quickly getting kills without your wingmen stealing them. The AI wingmen are not player orderable, so you have to move quick and efficiently to get a good score. It's worth a play!

A simple mission, pretty straightforward. Blow some containers before anyone else does and protect your capital ship from Y-Wings loaded with Space Bombs. That was an original twist. Overall easy and fun to fly.
