Take the rating with a mountain of salt, but I'm rather pleased with this one - my first custom mission creation in about 18 years. Gave me a chance to go back and do things the way I think they kind of need to be for X-Wing to function for most - full briefing, with mission objectives listed and hints included.

It might be a bit challenging for some, but I've tried to keep it fair. The trickiest part is making a break for the Gunboats as soon as they arrive, so that they don't wreck your shuttle. And, while not very challenging, you need to know that you can destroy the shield generators on the Star Destroyer in X-Wing to bring down its shields.

It's a bit of an "X-Wing Greatest Hits" in mission form, but I'm still happy with it, looking back on it a year later.

It's a relatively easy inspection mission. Could do with a bit more events, goals, story, and proper direction.

The biggest issue is that the mission goals make it so that it can be completed in less than 30 seconds. If you stick around after, it's actually a pretty good mission... if the FRG capture and its survival was a primary goal (and it took longer to hyperspace away, requiring you to protect it), I think it's be pretty great.

Like TFTC-TC #1 before it, this is essentially a director's cut of two XWA battles (XWA-TC #72 and XWA-TC #73) with a bonus mission added to the mix, using all the bells and whistles available in TFTC to really elevate it to the best possible experience you can have with these missions. I love the concept and the execution and, most importantly, the upgrade to TFTC, which really lets these missions shine. Once again, this is the definitive way to play these missions, and for my money it makes for another wonderful addition to the compendium.

It's well balanced, certainly different, and walks the line between challenging and fun quite well. The humor isn't likely going to be for everyone, but I found it a bit charming. End of the day, it's a great mission, well worth playing!

Pretty solid protect-ships mission with some humor to elevate it a bit. The shields on the TIE Fighter is a kindness that is probably unnecessary, but will reduce frustration for many pilots. I liked it!

I think it's a fun little mission with some great humor. I wish the destroy enemy fighters goal wasn't there and that there was a real threat to the ATR, but otherwise it's pretty solid.

It's about as generic as they come - destroy a CRS. You have to protect a single gunboat though with a few waves? And not one that has a whole lot of warheads to right home about? You're gonna fight some fighters and laser down a CRS. That's about it.

Tough to grade this one when it has a pretty glaring bug - you need to wait until the INT shows up (2 minutes) before disabling the factory or the mission will not be completable.

Ignoring that problem... it's a pretty nice capture operation, with a fun start and a lot of mayhem. Hard to completely judge the glaring bug, but otherwise I'd say it's a good time.

A little different but pretty straight-forward and relatively short. Always nice to fly as Typhoon!

The fact that the Lichtor can get captured and you can still pass the mission is definitely a problem. Ultimately, it really just comes down to destroying some A-Wings while flying a X-Wing in TIE Fighter, which not an ideal platform for that scenario

I enjoyed it! Could do with a few tweaks (removal of starfighter orders for cap ships), but it's a fun mission starring Typhoon Squadron in its glory days. Definitely a lot to like!

Mu firing missiles at Iota is definitely a huge demerit for what would otherwise be a weird but kind of interesting mission. Having to laser down at least one cap ship is also a bummer.

Not a huge fan of the Fly Rebel Ships patch for TIE Fighter, but this one was balanced alright for it. Still a bit messy design wise, but perfectly flyable

I think it's pretty great! Up to you whether to send the cadets home (probably should...), and then it's just a matter of holding out until the calvary arrive (all Rebels need to be cleared before the mission will end though). But a fun mission with a few different objectives to make things interesting

Perfectly fine "destroy the CRS by protecting your bombers" kind of mission

It's a protect-the-platform mission, although arguably it should have had some threat to the shuttle as well to have some real bite. Pretty easy time.

Stop the fighters from immediately murdering the Escort Shuttle until they... lose interest? Pretty simple if you get over that initial hump, but not awesome

Lot of extra things going on if you stick around or take a bit longer to destroy the PLT.

I enjoyed this one - it's more about buying time and keeping your ship alive than destroying the CRSs, and that is absolutely OK!

I like the present threat of a FRG you need to destroy that's about to ram the ship you're supposed to protect. It's a nice scenario, although I'm not sure what the point is of the SHUs at the end.

I like it! The idea is fun and it tries something unique, with the select-your-team approach. Makes IFF friend/foe a bit harry, but I think that's a small price for trying something different.
