Battle Reviews

Played on easy with full cheats. I don't really like the rebel fighter patch as I find the controls too twitchy. Ok battle.

It was a great set of missions up until mission 5. Now, I don't mind mission creators adding a ship about themselves into the storyline, but making it a Primary Objective that they don't fly the freakin' thing into a DREAD 35 minutes into the mission is absolutely ridiculous. If the creator kills himself, so be it. Especially on the final mission. I can see it being important if they have something to do with completing the story, but as I see it, Carl was not needed to really furthur the story. At least not as the "non-pilot" controlled craft.

Battle Bug Reports

GN Elwood the Brave

2014-02-11

The readme file gives as "number of missions" 4. 2 lines later it says "Plotline by :Marcin Szydlowski, mission 1, Carl Lost, missions 2, 3, 4, 5". The actual mission number is 5.
Maybe this is not a true bug, but it might unsettle the one or the other.

Mission 1:

The Science Office has goofed up! By accident they have created numerous clones of
Snji and you've been chosen to hunt them down. A Sith Warrior has been put on your
side to help you in this matter!

Mission 2:

The other part of the clones is trying to make it to safety through money (they took
some inventions concerning hyperspace communication form the Science Office) and to an
old acquaintance of the Empire - The Muurians...

Intel has found out that one of the SHU's in the hangars near the bio defense weapons
training section in Daedalus (implemented after the New Rebublic Treachery at Ryloth
Incident) was gone. Snij Clone XX managed to send a Ysalamir to Daedalus, which
distracted Warrior Lost from him....

The shuttle's last trajectory, measured from the Intel Liasions Officer on board the
M/CRV, pointed to Muurian Space, where Snij XX possibly tries to go underground in an
inconspicuous Cargo Freighter...

SW Lost is greatly enraged and thus will direct you through the Force when inspecting
the 3 or 4 freighter convoys that are supposed to pass through this area. It is likely
that other Snji clones wil take this escape route as well....

Mission 3:

Three weeks later:

The engine signature data from the Escort Shuttle is far from allowing
Intel an unique target location. A sensor probe would have been better!
Although it is not your fault, you have been close to feeling the wrath of the Dark
Jedi Lost. The Briefing officer, however, who SHOULD have known that, has been brought
to the medics with a crushed throat. He is not present at the briefing. Barely containing
his anger, Sith Lost directs you to scout the last known location of the Shuttle
signature print - an asteroid field where possibly the Snji clone tries to turn the
strange container cargo into money for his further escape. The Escort shuttle tries to
rendezvous with an Muurian Freighter, which has a Muurian Corvette for an escort. For
the Muurians this is a powerful military ship, considering their budget. So it must be
quite important, possibly the bioweapon countermeasure? With this, they could attack
their neighbours with bioweapons without fear of like retaliation!

This time Intel has done a masterpiece - YOU are in disguise and one of the three
starfighter escorts, SW Lost did his part by influencing the crew.

Therefore when you pick up patrol, you will try to put a beacon onto the shuttle, since
there is no capacity to be there in time with boarding craft. The SHU will flee, but
will jettison the container, since it slows the SHU down. Nobody must know about the
Muurian operation, since the EH doesn't want a war With Muuria - too expensive and
at least keep the veil of diplomatic relations.... therefore the Corvette and the
freighter MUST be destroyed as well as the other starfighers. Afterwards, Lost will
arrive in a ATR and dock with you and hyper home with you!

Mission 4:

Ecaped again ! The last Snji clone fooled you and (the not lightly enraged) Sith Warrior
Lost by making the Muurians fight you. Lost suspects that Snji Clones have latent Force
powers that activate in high distress....

Therefore, after having been refitted by the ATR of Lost, you will follow the hyper
beacon of Snji immediately and scout wherever you find yourself. Lost will hyper to
the next EH port and get the assistance of a INT, if possible.

You hypered out directly into the abyss... ONE Snj clone left was bad but you arrived
at a HEAVILY defended facility of the New Republic. SNJII probably promised assistance
in the clone process of himself in exchange for complete safety from you. The NR
apparently tried to use genetic weapons after the bioweapon attack from the Ryloth
Incident failed....

All you can do is to inspect all capital ships and get some data.
Mid Mission you hear a whisper in your head "I have assesed your situation - assistance
will arrive soon, Lost out".

Mission 5:

You are safe onboard the M/FRG Ludwick IV and scramble out of the almost smoldering
R-41...

In front of you stands Sith Warrior Lost in a flightsuit...
(Flight Officer now is MAJ Lost). "We will end this charade from SNJII - the clone
facility must be captured. What they don't know is that an INT and two Star Destroyers
are en route to the facility. No one will escape! - I have two T/D's here - I shall use
rocket attacks for the numerous NR capital ships and you will defend me from fighter
attacks. You may "send" me home if you think you can handle it. I then shall return in
the ATR when you have disabled the PLT, so I can board it and PERSONALLY crush the last
clone, as well as the foolish Rebels that think thy can outwit a Dark Jedi..."

Go for a great space battle... !!
