Pretty good if you want to do most of the dogfighting on medium. On hard, you have a slim chance to survive the encounter much less protect the objective. Oh, the wingman is useless.

A good battle over all. Nice varying craft to fly. No super difficult missions to complete against repeating droves of the same flight craft. Also gave time to calm down during missions so it went by without any hiccups.

This battle had a poor mission design. None of the critical craft in any of the battles were in any danger. Even worse, your forces would be excellent in combat to the point where it was humiliating to try and fly yourself. Other than that, the story/plot behind the battle was a little better, not to mention the overall succession of the missions to provide some interesting points.

A very difficult battle when flown in GUNs. But it puts a new spin on how to battle with a slow, broad, shielded craft.

This battle is just plain weak. I'm only glad I get the chance to add some cap ship kills to my score. But even then the score is still weak. Not enough fighter squadrons. Not enough fighting period.

It wasn't a war, or a battle, it was nothing more than trivial mission after repeat mission. If it takes squad after squad to destroy the same ships over and over again, then it's not worth the time. Even if it is a Combined Battle, please find some change in the mission structure and settings.

Gotta love how you can easily kill so many capital ships. Which brings me to the problem, they aren't fighting back. It's a so so battle. Perfect for those who wish to practice stripping a cap ship of weapons.

There were moments where the Rebels would just swarm after the mission was completed. At that time all of your reinforcements left you behind. Yet, if you got to destroy at least a hundred rebels then you got an extremely good score, so the more kills the better.

Not as bad, but not as good as most other battles. It's like a repeat of the older TIE missions. Just some name changing.

The 2nd mission was a little skewed in design. The messages are very out of sync with the game. But otherwise, it was a pretty decent battle.

Well, all I can say that the idea of 'battle' is good. Other than that, I took out both captial ships with my T/I, which is quite embarassing to the Rebels if you catch my drift. (You know Turbolasers shreading TIE's to bits.)

I flown the mission over and over and I keep wondering why there is chewing gum on the Strike Cruiser. When you think about it, most aliens aren't really seen with gum in their... ummm... mouth(s). Although, I wouldn't want to check under some flight office desk.

The missions were set in a very odd order. Some problems occured when selecting other craft to fly, mostly anything TIE related. The strength and smarts of the enemy AI was always stronger than allied forces. The set objectives of the allied forces were too incomplete to show intelligence in critical points of the missions.
