It was playable and fast, that is all this had going for it. There are next to no briefings (not sure how the TAC office approved it was basically no animated briefing), the story made no sense in the last mission, and you have to fail at your goal to win?!...

On a positive note, I like the idea of doing short hyper jumps. You can see the ships from afar and fly the 50 units on regular engines or hyper there - just like in Wing Commander. Unfortunately, that's it. The rest is buggy. Mission 1 & 4 give you victory messages even though the mission is not complete and you will fail when you quit then.

This one starts very promising with first mission and storyline at a high level, but as it unfolds, the missions become increasingly boring and tedious, and the story disappears into mediocrity. Just for the FCHG points and watching Rogue DB going down.

I give this mission a 1/5 because it wasn't completely unplayable. However, it was not a good battle and the missions were too simple. Furthermore, one mission is borderline impossible due to not mentioning the requirement of the S-Foils mod to fly the Assault Gunboat!

Next to no story, mediocre dogfights but some good protection missions. Briefings have bugs and the last mission will complete successfully if GA Ronins carrier is destroyed.

This was fun. Lots of ships to destroy, plot was done well enough. I thought the using the GUN in mission 3 was a bit of a let down though. I though the T/Ds presented a nice challenge and change of pace to destroy in the final mission

Looked to be a good battle but is heavily let down at the end. Why ruin a good plot by just randomly involving Ronin?

I haven't finished it yet, but it's a good mission...you also need the S-Foils patch...

Mission 1 gives you a victory message even though not all targets have been eliminated. If you quit then you fail. Mission 4 is similar. If you kill the VSD to quickly you have fulfilled all goals but fail if you quit. I don't know if Ronin even shows up or if you just have to sit around and wait.

Mission 1: Bonus goal to destroy 100% of T/A Excursion shows as complete before all of the squadron's fighters are destroyed.
Mission 2: Briefing is not animated.
Mission 3: Briefing is not animated. Objective to eliminate freighters shows as complete when only 75% have been destroyed.
Mission 4: Briefing is not animated. The corvette emerging from the rDB's Victory Destroyer causes collision issues.
