A pleasant battle with an intriguing storyline. Some missions are rather short and complete almost by themselves, and though it's always fun to fly a TIE Phantom, there are better craft available for that specific mission. Overall, a solid four out of five.

An atypical Frodo mission in that it feels really rushed; there is no real plot, and also no useful briefings. The fourth and final mission is also something of a mess, requiring you to kill several capital ships and their escorts in a T/A armed only with missiles. A little disappointing, really.

An average mission with some typical Frodo silliness, but a storyline that actually makes some sense and is enjoyable to fly. My only gripe is the inspection mission and escape mission are way too quick, but that just means you can get to the next battle quicker, I guess!

I gave this two stars because of the lack of game-breaking bugs, but that's really the only benefit of this battle. Missions 1 through 3 are ridiculously easy, wile 4 and 5 are ridiculously hard. Mission 6 wants you to capture people, but the mission's objectives are complete when you blow up the platform they are on. For 6 FCHG points, there are easier and quicker ways to get there.

Thius was a fun six missions, with a compelling storyline and in most missions, a choice of craft to fly. Unfortunately the parts where you are with Praetorian are lacklustre due to the Praetor patch not functioning, meaning you have to let BoP assign you to a PES to finish - a real shame that prevents a 5/5.

An...interesting mission, in which you act as a Senator's bodyguard/muscle as they attempt to create a treaty with an Imperial Warlord. Suffice to say, shenanigans ensue. The story wasn't bad and the missions are mostly bug-free, but the repetitive nature of the missions brings the score down.

This gets a 2 for being bug-free. Though it has a storyline, I cannot really get behind that as it seems to be cobbled together from TIE and the TC career of a man I've never met. The irksome thing is that some missions are so short that they are pointless, while one mission is literally ten minutes long for no appreciable reason whatsoever. If you want FCHG points or to go for 100% SP Battles completed, go for it; otherwise, avoid.

Another mission which, in anything other than a TIE Praetor, would have been a challenge. The story was acceptable, the missions are bug-free, but it's simply too easy in something that makes the Defender look like it is wearing training wheels.

Rated 2 for semi-coherent storyline and lack of bugs. When XvT was made, they refused to add the TIE Defender because it was overpowered. So the TC decided to introduce the TIE Praetor, instead, which makes the Defender look like a toy. There is no threat or challenge to these missions except maybe on Hard, which dulls the experience somewhat.

Rated 2 as there are no bugs, and the story is fairly decent. The issue is, as with Praetorian Elite 1, the Praetor is overpowered as hell. This makes the missions way too easy even on Medium, and you never truly feel threatened.

What on Earth did I just fly? This mission is...wow. I don't know where to begin. Inside jokes that were funny 10 years ago (and a member of certain circles) have not aged well, leaving this mission more than a little baffling. 2/5 just because there are no bugs and it was an easy 44pts for RtF...

This was a fun little battle, that had a pleasing if basic story. The high point for me, really, was that I could fly the entire thing in the Assault Gunboat which is by far the most fun Imperial craft to fly in XvT/BoP. Could it be better? Sure, but it's fun, and that's what's important.

A pleasant mission in which you have to destroy lots of fighters and destroy some base facilities. Would be nice if you started with 200% shields or spawned slightly further away from the action, as jumping right into a melee straight from the hangar can be unsettling.

Unfortunately, this mission has not aged well. Obviously from an era when humour was different and people would accept needing to retry a mission a dozen or more times before finishing it even on Easy, this is no longer worth the time and effort for the one FCHG point it will get you. Gets a 1 purely for not being bugged.

Technically, there was nothing wrong with this mission - 5 missions of a reasonable challenge level. Story-wise, on the other hand, it suffers. Who is Anna Darksaber and why should I care about her? Furthermore, how come all of the briefings required a second document to make sense? This is, unfortunately, not Frodo's best work and sadly lacks the pizazz I'm used to from him.

Also known as 'the EH hunts for an Astromech droid', prepare for all sorts of adventures as you hunt down a wayward droid across the galaxy in a wide variety of craft. Loses 1pt for making you fly the ship of sadness (MIS) in the final mission.

An entertaining battle, the TIE Bomber is always a fun craft to fly, and the new and improved Advanced Bomber is just a little bit silly! Slap a beam weapon on, dump the energy to engines, and it's faster than a Defender!

This was actually a pretty good battle right up until the final mission, wherin I had to fly on unlimited waves just to have enough Heavy Rockets to kill the ships that the AI was too inept to. A sad mis-balancing that, frankly, deprived this battle of a 4 or 5.

An enjoyable mission, though with some questionable weapons loadouts - in any difficulty other than Easy, your Missile Boats lack the punch to destroy the Frigates and Cruiser in addition to the freighters and A-Wings that swarm you. I was also under the assumption that the Dark Brotherhood was restricted to Interceptors only?

A very simple battle involving the use of a shielded TIE Interceptor and a TIE Advanced to kill the same Jedi twice, capture them once, and expose their lies to a secular society. Enjoyable, but needed more flair for a higher score.

Surprisingly challenging, fighting off wave after wave of fighters while your base evacuates. To hit the high scores you need to have survived the waves of fighters, probably killed the Cruiser, and still be in a position to take on the transports and win.

Not a bad mission, the timer is specifically a nice touch. Normally the Missile Boat isn't my cup of tea, but this mission really sold me on it as both a strike craft and fighter. Would definitely fly something like this again! That said, shame the secondary missiles stop working when you run out of primary ordnance...

This gets a two because it's not a bad mission, it's just got some things that need tweaking. The Gunboats need to attack the facility not the fighters, the player needs to know the CRL will jump in then out if the base is destroyed too soon, not make every fighter a primary target so I have to mute the radio, that kind of thing.

So, given I don't know who Mike is/was, I don't care about his family so the plot is a bust. Furthermore, who gives every enemy craft missiles AND countermeasures even on Easy? I've tried on all difficulties, and I don't think this would be worth the FCHG point even if I did finish it.
