Very enjoyable series of missions - a mix of dogfighting and mission 4 really made you think about how to complete it, with a brutal time limit to do it in - excellent stuff!

This battle is sort of a mixed bag. There's a variety of fighters to kill (not fly) but that does give you a chance to get comfortable for the last mission which, if you're not playing on easy (I did) I imagine this would be very difficult. The second and third missions are basically the same - same setup, but the third time around you don't have to wait for the craft to show up at least. The final mission though...I almost don't want to ruin it, but I will say I didn't know there was a 2 minute timer running once I started, so heads up when you hear the beep.

Cool missions and a variation from the norm. The last mission is a prime example of that where you have to race against the clock to complete your objective. That's not something we see a lot of in custom missions. For that creativity and for the nice mission variation I recommend you play it. The only negative I'd have to say is that the story leaves a little to be desired. It isn't bad but it could use a little extra.

I thought this battle was okay. The briefing, inflight messages, and scene was very well done; the only reason I scored it at a 3 is because the in-flight objective are not clear. In a couple of missions, the objective is to kill or force the Rebels to withdraw - but you don't know what your target is (sometimes 50%, sometimes more), and in mission 4, you immediately start with two objectives complete. A bit of polish could easily bring this mission up to a 4 or even 5.

To be honest, the plot in this one didn't really leave much an impression on me. The dogfighting was fun, and the missions were bug free. Definitely worth a try if you have the time

Aesthetics were very good. The briefing excellent. Clearly the mission creator put a lot of effort into it. There are a few issues here and there and the early missions are essentially the same. This one will not win any awards but it is worth giving it a try, especially for the nice last mission.

I played on Easy. This was a very quick set of missions, overall. Some of the missions were a little slow, but this was quick as a whole. The final mission, especially, is over in the blink of an eye. Decent for points.

This battle has received ratings of 1, 2, 3, 4 ... and now 5! I didn't think it was THAT bad at all. Good plot, briefing, dogfighting, and not that easy. All in all, I really enjoyed it.

Having played the battle now twice, I've come to notice that the missions have some rather well thoughtout combat sequences, not really difficult, but do take some quick thinking. Would have been 5 - next time make battle in XWA -

Taken into account the mission was built by a cadet, he or she does not seemed to have done too bad a job overhaul, the battle idea was good, and the briefing were informative for once. Some parts of the missions need refinement, but still I’ve seen a lot worse in the battle center, so good try cadet

Why did this get bad reviews? It was certainly not designed by a rookie. Original and VERY difficult. I liked it.

Poor. Good briefings though, but it remains a BoP battle.

Mission 1: Typo in briefing - 'attack' instead of 'attack force'. Objective to protect Habeen ESC is implemented incorrectly and thus shows as complete immediately. Global unit configuration needs reworking (unit numbering is all over the place). FRGs New Hope and other Rebel craft do not withdraw when the player completes the objective. CRVs Gold have starfighter orders.
Mission 2: Typo in enemy Dreadnaughts' cargo - 'task two' instead of 'task force two' for example. Objective to protect Habeen station is implemented incorrectly and thus shows as complete immediately. Global unit configuration needs reworking (unit numbering is all over the place).
