Battle Reviews

This is kind of what i expect from a typical single mission battle. A small scenario with some interesting twists and turns. It's not without its flaws, but it's decent enough to get a 4 instead of a 3, as it is a little more involved than just a skirmish. The briefing is also decent and gives you a good idea of what you should be doing. For example, go and inspect the TRNs and then protect the capture.

Very good, nice plot as beef said can be hard if you destroy the craft in the Wrong order, and Watch out for the the Y-Wings at the end. Nice work AV!

COL Beef

Good motivation for the mission! :P Very hard if you don't take care of the bad guys in the right order. Otherwise it's pretty easy. Overall, an OK mission.

LCM Dash Riprock

Very nice battle with great divercity, and a cool plot for as much as an FT allows one of those.

I thought it was an excellant mission. No to easy, and in some cases a bit difficult. Especially where the transports are concerned. Those blasted X-Wings will make short work of something if not covered correctly. I thought this tested the skill of the pilot somewhat cuz you have to dogfight with the fighters and avoid the darn mines that target you. I thought this was a well rounded mission. Good work Major!

I think this battle has both ups and downs, but the ups outnumber the downs. I liked the fact that this isn't like most free missions, because there is a specific reason for destroying the enemy. Another thing is that there is only the Colossus, and two T/As, so there is a lot longer dogfight, and more points can be racked up. It is short, but not too short(about 25 min's max) Also, I can't really say anything too bad about it cause my WC made it.

Mission Brief:

Plotline for the mission "Colossus: Gold Rush"

Simply put the pilots on the Colossus need to get their paychecks. The Imperial credit making offices have dispersed several transports of IC's to the Colossus. We were happy to hear this, however, in route the transport flashed a disstress signal saying they were under attack, and that 2 of the 6 transports had already been disabled.

Your job will be to fly a TIE Advanced designated "Mu" and help protect these craft if in fact they are still around. You will enter the area where they're last transmission came form and inspect. We hope that the transports are still there cuz our pilots need to get paid or its quite possible a mutinous act may take place and all may be lost.

If the transports are there, then you'll need to inspect them to be sure that the cargo is still in tact. Once verified and identified, shuttles will arrive to recapture our money! And the crew of the Colossus, will get paid and be allowed to go on liberty!

One thing to keep in mind is Intel has no clue as to who we're dealing with, so be very careful!
