CPT Talas was a genius. This mission is both extravagant, humorous and exhilarating. The jokes behind every step of the way, make a compelling motivation, just to play it. And it actually was kind of challenge. Bringing down a myriad of kamikazes in Shuttles, was something you probably have not flown before. Dogfight your fingers off in an unshielded T/I with a beam tractor?. If you are looking for something that can make you chuckle, melt your trigger finger and torture your joystick, this is the one for you. CPT Talas, I definitely miss your missions. Wing VIII, always.

This mission is actually a hidden gem. The person who made it has a nice sense of humour. Takes the piss out of most of the missions while at the same time delivering at least a noteworthy mission. I also like the fact you have a choice of craft as a player based on the difficulty you choose. For example on hard, you fly on a shieldless T/I. I got my front and rear mirrors knocked out early on, but carried on, for the heck of it. Couldnt see a thing. But managed to get through. Will circle back for seconds. :)

ELEMENTS TM & © LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY. About the mission: Before I actually joined TIE Corps I spent some time going through the custom missions and reading the message boards. That one day I came upon a post describing how to change the craft flown by the player depending on the difficulty level. I quickly set about a test mission to do just that. This mission is the result of that experiment and about two weeks of tweaking. It was made while I was still a CT and I've just went over and changed the names to reflect a more Emperor's Hammer feel. Do enjoy. LT Talas 11/28/01. P.S.
