Battle Reviews

CM Benji Tandor

Jarring writing, a second mission with hellish time constraints and a fourth that requires you to take out two platforms without reload craft or adequate NPC support make for an annoying battle.

My twenty-seventh battle in the TIE Corps.

COL Phalk Sturm

This battle is fun and original, not in the conception of the overly used path of fighting pirates, but because it's the first time those pirates can actually hijack your own ships, and is written nowehere who is who, so follow your guts or be prepared to repeat some missions. That was a nice touch which compensated the too simple briefings and the linear plot. The flying itself, however was fun and invigorating. A good battle after all

LT Bryan

A nice battle.

Plotline for the IW Battle: "Smugglers Greed" The Beginning Campaign

It seems that there have been alot of activity in the Outer Rim lately. Intel sends rumors to the fleet of a group of pirates which have been operatiing in the area. Several of the shipping lanes have been hit many times and we've all but lost our cargo everytime this happened.

Well the IWCOM is quite upset especially since it has been happening in the sectors we've been watching. AD NiksaVel has had to resort to sending out more recon patrol than necessary to figure out just what is going on. Turns out that a rather large groups of Pirates have set up a home base and has been operating from there for sometime.

He is sending the MC-90 Fear along with some support ships to remedy this situation beofre it gets out of hand.

Mission #1: Aquire Rebel Supplies

One of our recon patrols sighted a NR CRV which had been disabled, apparently in a fire fight. According to recon that CRV is loaded down with hyperdrives. Our beloved IWCOM wants them. We are tasked with
flying with Ares Squadron to go in and clear any defense forces if at all, to make way for our Transport, so they can come in and capture it. Along with recon, Intel has reported that there are several FG's heading towards the same objective, so we gotta move fast. One thing to watch for is the mine field which surrounds the CRV. Good Luck!

Mission #2: Capture Freighters

Okay from our last mission we have determined that 4 of our freighters have been disabled by an advanced FG of the pirates. These freighters are carrying our pay as well as weapons and some rare jewels. We know that they are going for those FRT's and we can't let them have the cargo. These band of pirates already have taken our pay once, letting it be done again may cause discontent among the fleet. If we fail we might as well get shot down.

Mission #3: Protect the Ardent

Once again recon patrols have done well in gathering information. During the fleets transit to our location, the FRG Ardent has lost some power and a shield generator. So we are being sent back to give them aid while this gets repaired. There are reinforcements from Intruder available if needed.

Mission #4: Assault against the Pirates

Wow, we actually made it this far with out losing our butts. A few fighters lost but fortunately no pilots. This is good because we'll need them here. We have found out where a remote pirate base of operations is located. We are tasked by AD Figaro to go in and do some damage. But be very careful we're not sure what to expect here. It was apparent last mission that the rebels are conspiring with the pirates. So watch your six gents!
Medal has yet to be made. Will be available when created.
